Muslims are just overly sensitive thats all. Specially after 9-11. You know, if the wind blows from the west "westerly winds" hell it must be the crusaders coming to town type in sensitivities.
Faisal I used the smuggling incident as an aid to help explain the point that you still dont get. Here once again: When Quran is desecrated by fellow muslims no one bothers to riot however when it is perceived that some American "MAY" (and there is big may the size of great wall of china) have descerated holy scripture the whole country rises up.
Now the country was made to rise up by a few. As I mentioned in my initial post on this subject on page 1( look it up), this is nothing but a ploy to single out leadership and I am sure we the americans suceeded in singling out the evil guys.

I posted this over in the Religion section too. Now how can we have respect for Islam, when the mere possesion of a Bible is Illegal in Saudi Arabia, who claims that its laws are inspired by Islam? Anybody getting the point that this is not exactly a two way street?
40 Pakistani Christians held in S. Arabia
RIYADH, April 23: Saudi Arabia has detained 40 Pakistani Christians for holding prayers at a house in the kingdom, where practicising any religion other than Islam is illegal, newspapers said on Saturday. A group of men, women and children were attending the service in the capital Riyadh when police raided the house, Al Jazirah newspaper said.
It said authorities also found Christian tapes and books.
Another Saudi daily, Al Yaum, said the raid took place on Friday while a Pakistani preacher was delivering a sermon. It was not clear what measures might be taken against the group.
Saudi authorities were not immediately available to comment.
There are around six million foreigners in the kingdom, which has a population of 23 million, including many Christians from Europe, North America, Asia and other Arab states.
In a rare official rebuke of a close ally last year, Washington accused Saudi Arabia of severe violations of religious freedom.
Following the Sept 11, 2001 attacks, which were carried out by mainly Saudis, the Gulf Arab state’s religious establishment came under sharp criticism by the West for fostering militancy and intolerance of other religions.—Reuters

Falwell and Moore represent the American Christian version of the fundamentalist represented by these firebrand clerics. If either one of them started a riot that caused this destruction and death and threatened a Holy War, they would be defrocked and ridiculed by the mainstream, if not thrown into jail. There would be very little empathy for them.
