bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

^ Jus to put things in perspective smashing of the idols is wrong. Who ever started that is wrong. Lets hold a rally and condemn that act before buring down shops and shooting people because the quran got flushed down the toilet. Lets start at the beginning. :flower1:

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

No, I was just wondering why Mamoolah had an empty post…may be trailing thoughts got stuck.

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

P diddy lets start from now and work our way backwards..so is that a condemnation I hear? I look forward to hearing about the protest rally at lunch time..please post pics in image 1 (also please remember you, Verizon, Sheikh Saab and Roman don’t constitute a rally)

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

:hehe: Couldn’t fit yourself in in this discussion, so you poped up with a matter unrelated to this thread. :hehe: Poor fellaw, enjoy your stay here! Hehe…

Proud of it mate, soon it will be state of poppy cultivation, i can’t help it. At least we do something for a living… :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

At least Afghan grow poppy for living while Pakistan is begging and pulling an Arab out of its arse once in a while. We Pakistani ought to learn a bit or two from the Afghans, sell drugs but never beg.

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

^ Exactly......unlike you slaves [poi sha kana] ...we don't beg for charity! buvt!....

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

Oooopppps. This is perhaps why rioting in the streets is not a good idea…

Newsweek says Koran desecration report is wrong By David Morgan
25 minutes ago

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Newsweek magazine said on Sunday it erred in a May 9 report that U.S. interrogators desecrated the Koran at Guantanamo Bay, and apologized to the victims of deadly Muslim protests sparked by the article.

Editor Mark Whitaker said the magazine inaccurately reported that U.S. military investigators had confirmed that personnel at the detention facility in Cuba had flushed the Muslim holy book down the toilet.

The report sparked angry and violent protests across the Muslim world from Afghanistan, where 16 were killed and more than 100 injured, to Pakistan to Indonesia to Gaza. In the past week it was condemned in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Malaysia and by the Arab League.

On Sunday, Afghan Muslim clerics threatened to call for a holy war against the United States.

“We regret that we got any part of our story wrong, and extend our sympathies to victims of the violence and to the U.S. soldiers caught in its midst,” Whitaker wrote in the magazine’s latest issue, due to appear on U.S. newsstands on Monday.

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

I wonder how long of a wait till Pakistani authorities nab the so called Al-Qaeeda agents that stirred up this uproar. It shouldn't be that hard.

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

It is the Pakistani authorities who stirred it up and are hiding Bin Laden.

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

On Sunday, Afghan Muslim clerics threatened to call for a holy war against the United States.

It scared the **** out of the US cause the US knows it ain't Iraq niggaaa!

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

Quite a deadly error, from Newsweek, one can say. Or may be a fairly incompetent attempted cover-up, as a result of horrible problems surfacing around the Islamic world against good ol' US of A. I guess we'll never really know what is the unfiltered truth in all this. May God bless the souls of those who lost their lives in what they thought was a noble cause. Ameen.

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

It was a noble cause; it scared the crap out of the states. It did happen because Newsweek is apologizing. Is Newsweek that stupid to report something like that with out any bases? The US was butt naked in front of the Muslim world and didn't want to stir more violence since they are getting their asses whipped in Iraq. You don't even see Iraq on the news any more because it is nothing pretty.

Something big happened in Afghanistan don’t know what but all of the sudden the entire nation just blew up on fire. Brought back the days of Soviet Union I guess. Friends in Afghanistan told me they hadn’t seen anything like it before. We’ll never know what happened or maybe in Afghanistan people are getting fed up.

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

^^It was not a noble cause, it was emotions running high. The indegenous Afghans could have demonstrated in a civil manner. Regarding your comment about US getting its ass whipped, I dont mean to derail the thread but shouldnt that be Iraqis whipping other iraqis asses?

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

Are we gonna bless the 19 hijackers for giving their life for what they thought was a noble cause? What about the suicide bomber blowing up a market in Iraq?

I hope God blesses the innocent shop owners or policemen who had to die because a group of over zealous idiots took their anger out in an uncivlized, unrelated and ineffective manner.

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

Oh it was certainly effective. Very effective. Make no mistake about it.

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

Seminole the Muslim protests were so effective that Newsweek retracted their story. Very Very Very effective.

A question who should compensate the people that died protesting?
a: CIA
b: Newsweek
c: Afghan Gov't (basically US Money)
d: The Al-Gudha* rioters....
e: No one they are dead

*Gudha= Donkey, in this case it is implied JackAss/es

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

I’ve got new for ya’all, this makes the Muslim world look a wee bit stupid. Now nobody should destroy holy books. But to the best of my knowledge, OBL invoked Islam in 1997 in a fatwa that admonished all Muslims to kill Americans wherever they can find them. To date no Muslim leader has ever demanded a retraction of THAT. No one has appologized for THAT. Then the guy kills 3000 people in the name of Islam and you wonder why you are getting less respect for the religion than you would like? If somebody defaces a holy book in the future, dispatch a team of Islamic representatives to meet with Bush, do not riot and kill each other in the streets. It makes you look like hot headed maniacs.

thank you.

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

i wonder how many awards and praises the writer of this article will get. afterall he did a splended job.

OG, facts are meaningless. aren't they? so quit being a typical racist, close-minded, only-USA-&americans-matter american and stop justifying bruital and terrorist acts comitted by your countrymen. what is wrong is wrong. simple as that.

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

"OG, facts are meaningless."

What facts? We don't know any facts. We have a crappy news report, and 20 dead Muslims. If the US rioted every time somebody burned a US flag in the streets we would all be dead. Can I go burn a thousand Qurans in my back yard, and expect 20thousand dead religious maniacs by dawn? Why do we need the military when you all are killing each other in the streets.

The next time there is a report of some incident with the Quran, find a delegation of reasonable people to come to the White House, and discuss the problem. Rioting in the streets may seem cool and understandable, but when the dust clears, all people will remember is the rampant fanatasism. Newsweek screwed up, but violent riots are excessive, and maniacal. Talk about problems like resonable people. When the dust clears, the fanatical images will tarnish Islam, not Newsweek.

Let's face it, people are being whipped into a lather by pure hatred. They are looking for an excuse to hate. The "Quran incident" is just one more pretext for Islamic fanatics. Meanwhile in Iraq, 45 bodies were discovered buried in shallow graves. Who is killing Muslims?

Re: bo bo for US in Afghanistan: Anti-U.S. Riot Turns Deadly in Afghanistan

I agree OG..US policy hasn't tarnished Americans rep ..one bit..
