**Since I am going on a Blood donation campaign today it occured to me ask our guppies …How many of you have donated blood ? What were the reasons behind it ? Humanitarian or Monetary ?
I do know some people , especially college students who used to donate blood regularly just to get a lil extra pocket money to spend but most people do it out of humanitarian purposes.
Are you a rare blood type and in demand ? Like an AB Negative ?
Or are you a universal donor or recipient blood type ?**

I tried to donate..twice...but apparently im underweight:(
So cant donate until I reach teh right weight.
Where I had gone....there were no monetary incentives..it was totally humanitarian...cuz i had wanetd to donate blood since i was 12 yrs old...
Nopes..mines isnt a rare blood type..its B+

I've donated blood, if I see the blood service folk at a mall or something, I give it.
Where do people stand on being an organ donor? I'm one and most Muslims don't agree with my choice BUT my organs MAY end up saving another person's life one day.

hmmm…i can’t see myself donating an organ even after my death, not because of religious reasons, it’s just that i can’t do it. :no:

I always wanted to do it, but the doctors never let me may be because of the anemia.

but once you’re passed away, your organs are going to decompose anyways so why not help someone in need?

I did in high school there was a blood drive. I should again but my laziness gets the best of me. I am an A + so not rare.

It's considered healthy to donate every 3 months. But I just hate needles.

yes, i do donate. i've a rare blood group so i get reminder/request often whenever they have a special drive. i normally donate every three months alHamdolillah. :)**
