anyone here have their own blogs running? i have tried on three different occassions to start blogging but all of the attempts just went to zero :(.. no motivation whatsoever… how do u guys keep blogging?

For me blogging is keeping track of various pieces of news and articles that has taken my fancy. I used to always keep looking for news that i'd seen somewhere and couldn't find again. Plus I keep stuff that I want to share with everyone separate from "my use only" kinda items. So that's my motivation.

IMO, ICB is best cuz I can do any customization I want to. It's neat and clean. I don't like deisgn, font etc of other blogs and I don't know much about features/options they provide for members. I want my blog to look attractive and Invision is the one which is cool and attractive.

some will say here that others i mentioned are "cool" "attractive" as well. Its a matter of how YOU want it to look, with a lil web design you can make it look the way YOU want it.
so bottom line is, whatever suits your needs. and you still havent answered my questions correctly :P

I think from design and cutomization point of view.. Moveable Type and Wordpress are far better than Invision. I looked into it and i didn't find it that customizable as others.

Blogger, Xanga and LiveJournal are online services to provide blogs/journals to those who do not have their web hosting. They have somewhat control on your blog.
MoveableType and WordPress are blogging softwares. You need your own hosting if you wanna run them. You have complete control over your content and things you would like to do with Blogs.

and Invision Power Blog is NOT free and requires you to have Invision Power Board 2.0.2 or greater installed. What crap? I do not want to have this bulletin board just so i could use the blog (after buying it, ofcourse).
I'll go with either blogger, livejournal or get my own host and install moveabletype blog software :P

ye Invision blog is not free, it also requires hosting php and mysql. If you have knowledge of php scripting & mysql then you can do everything yea everthing.
and yes Invision blog is free (warez :D)

yes but like i said i DONT want to have the invision power board to have this blog. I prefer stand-alone blog not dependant on bulletin boards. and for bulletin board there is none better than vB :P
