I very respectfully have a query here. I believe GS has this generous policy of freedom of thought and expression to be exercised here. Im sure Difference of opinions is bound to hurt one school of thought or the other. This is natural. But please guide me here, is using abusive language like calling someone fk you and graceless idiots, is it also a part if your generous freedom of thought and expression policy? Im very very much concerned here.
Given that the blog you're referring to had a lot of back and forth in it - the abuse went both ways. If your criticism is against all who hurt the sentiments of others - then your comments are fair. But if you're holding out one or two people who belong to a particular fraternity - then that would be unfair.

I guess she is holding some one accountable here - who swear'd directly to her - where in her post she didn't say anything abusive of that extreme nature !

so how come that would be unfair ....
You don't look at the type of mud being splattered about - you look at the fact that mud is being splattered at all. And like I said, I think she's right in saying that things got out of hand - but the person she's aiming her remarks at wasn't the only guilty party. Shall I quote the abuse that others dished out as well? Whether the abuse was directed at a specific person or not - the words were very harsh (and BTW, maybe I'm not blameless either, so I will take responsibility if anyone was offended by my comments early on). Like TLK said, we all (I include myself) need to calm down and behave in a more responsible and dignified manner.
OK, so I deleted the comments. That is all the action I am going to take on this.
Point is, as Ehsan bhai started a thread in Mod forum, that KK mods are doing a phenomenal job by keeping the atmosopherre calm over this unnecessary sensitive issue. The reason I am giving credits to mods and not so much to members is where mods are not present (as we do not have any blog moderators), people just simply cross the boundary.
