Blocking Someone

I wanted to ask if I can block someone using wireless internet from the same router ? What I have to do ?

Re: Blocking Someone

Yes you can do that . There is a option of blocking by mac address . Search it in admin panel, depending which router you are using .

Re: Blocking Someone

^^MAC Filtering should be under wireless tab.

Re: Blocking Someone

^ there is a bridge filters option under advanced tab … which is kinda beyond my senses :hehe:
& there is this security management option under wireless tab which is asking for a MAC address to allow or ban someone … now what the hell is this mac address ? :frowning:

Re: Blocking Someone

Re: Blocking Someone

DMD, i think all he/she wants to do is make sure no one uses wifi. he/she is only using the wired port of the router but it comes built it in with wifi. why not just set up WEP/WPA?

Re: Blocking Someone

^^And i bet router is still using default username & password:hehe:

WEP/WPA is good option but nothing wrong in going extra secure

Re: Blocking Someone

ohh and unknownnn je whats wrong in using WEP /WPA?

Re: Blocking Someone

I want to block those who already knew the password & using my wifi.
