If a person blocks a contact on his messenger, will that person receive emails from the one that he has blocked?

yes.

For emails to be blocked you will have to go into the email settings of hotmail.

Hotmail> Options > More Options> Under Junk Email setting click on 'safe and blocked senders'> add the email address.

What if the blockee sends an email from his yahoo account to the hotmail account of the blocker? Bear in mind that the blockee had been on the contact list of the blocker both at hotmail and yahoo..

It does't matter what email service one is using. If you have blocked an email address (hotmail, yahoo or any other) there should't be any email coming into your inbox from that exact address. so yes, you have to block his email address at both hotmail and yahoo services to not receive his emails. Hope I answered your question.

oh and having had blockee on your contact list means nothing in this matter.

that was my answer to your this V V V V point.

which means him being on your contact list will not affect the block function and you will not receive his emails as long as you have his email address in your yahoo and hotmail block list.

so when the blocker gona send an email to blockee..... what kinda msg blocker gona get???

is he ever gona find out that he is on a block list ??
or is he gona get a 'delivery failed' notice???

^^ I think you are confusing blocker with blockee.

I am not sure, as I have't ever been to the blockee side of the equation so dont know about the delivery failed notice. But as a blocker you definitely dont receive email from the blocked address.

no he/she wont get any emails or anything for blocking in messenger or in email.
in email, wen he/she will try to email you, he wont be able to send mail and will bounce back and he'll know uve blocked him in ur email inbox.
