horrible incidents.. Hope everyone is safe.
And second horrible thing is that first thing after the incident that comes to our mind is a prayer that no muslim/pakistan is involved. sad times.

I'm feeling so terrible for the athletes. They put in MONTHS of hard work, only to get this in the end. What sort of depraved human being targets innocent athletes and onlookers like this!

Apparently they have diffused 2 unexploded devices and detained one person.
My guess is some small nutcase group acting on its own. AQ would have done something bigger, this clearly looks like poorly made IEDs.

Boston Official (Mayor) on TV said there was 3rd explosion as well close to/at JFK Library but there is no news of that on media.

The cowardly attacks on innocent participants and spectators of this sport event are condemnable by people all over the world. We stand united against terrorism in any part of the world. I thought so too but the way and with authority he is giving the statement makes it looks like he got some official word from higher ups.

Latest news is that pressure cookers were used. It was also mentioned that these types of pressure cookers are typically used in the Indian sub continent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh).
