When did I say smashing the Buddhas was right? I don't believe I did. Apart from anything else I'm not an Afghan so I don't have to answer for what they do, so your charge of hypocrisy is somewhat flimsy. It sad to see that the Taliban has taken such a radical stance to prove to the world that they are "religiously superior". However, where is the international out cry when innocent Kashmiris, Kosovars, Bosnains, Iraqis, Lebanese and Chechnians are all being slaughtered. It appears that the loss of life comes secondary to the destruction of ancient artifacts. Sadly, the international community is more concerned about "outdated objects" rather than saving innocent muslim lives.

Regarding the matter of you saying Taliban allowing pictures, when it is the Pakistani press or the opposition that are taking it. That looks like on clean shot from far away or someone took it secretly, as far as we know this picture can be a fake because of the digital age we live in today.
Think about it, why aren’t there more pictures (beside this only one) of this world-cry over these statues?
