For 2 decades when Taleban were not in Punjab, no one used the term Pakhtoon Taleban, and when they are pushing into Punjabi,
[/quote]
Reason people started calling them "Punjabi Taliban" was because up until now the word "Taliban" was associated with Pashtuns alone. This new term was initiated to put emphasis on this fact.
But these terms are not important. It is the actions against these fanatics that is important, no matter who they are.
If "Punjabi Taliban" seems like a bad term then it should be discarded. May be we can then describe them as "Taliban from PK", "Taliban from Punjab", "Taliban from Sindh", etc.
Like I said, that is not the point. ALL Pakistan has terrorism problem. And ALL Pakistan needs to be purged of this Evil, regardless of their ethnicity.
