(This is PhatimaOne btw. Posting from another ID for undisclosed reasons. Don’t worry about it lol)
Some lame political party at my house that was hosted by my cousin. Don’t ask. It was by far the wierdest function I’ve ever attended. I’ve never seen people act like such freakin’ paindoos. I had a good laugh. The Chee-Chee-Cheemas from Sialkot were there - actually, they tried coming in our driveway with a limo, but our driveway is curved so they kinda got stuck LOL HAHHHAHAHA =D Yea so then some of the cheap Uncles/Dudes were dancing bhangra and kasme it was horrible.
But here are some of the pictures I took that night. These were some of the more normal ones.
Two of my greatest heros My Dad with Faisal the Dhol Wala (yea, the guy that’s at all the biggest parades/shaadis/parties!!
***The wierd people trying to dance bhangra. The only one that was even half-good was the Sikh. ***There was a father and son Sikh there. And the son looks at the father and is like “Paa ji, assaan nay tey vi Pangraa paahna ai ki?” and the father is like “o puttar, aassi nai pavaangaiy tay kaun pangraa paaveyga? ” hahahhahahaha! =D
I crack up every time I see this picture. Check out the Uncle on the right side that has like literally lifted up the other dude I mean is that not the wierdest thing you’ve ever seen?! hahahhahaha
The tent
P.S. Do not make assumptions about me or my family because I am sharing these pictures. WE are normal, I promise. Nor do we take part in politics (my cousin just won some election there so yea).
P.S.S. Do not quote. Thankyou
I learned a little more about Pakistani politics from this event. I learned that the people that are involved in politics are not very educated at all, and I learned that all they really do is just go to parties like these and just chain smoke and drink and make horrible attempts at dancing bhangra.
Actually, after all of the guests left and it was just my family and some cousins and a few real close friends, the dhol wala was still there so we all danced a little bhangra ourselves —> that was the actual birth of something that I like to call Blacktop Bhangra. It was lots of fun just jumping and hopping around at like 1 am with the dhol wala going "HOIIII!!! " every now and then hahahahahahah. The neighbors must’ve been pissed. =D
