So is black really such a “forbidden” color to wear at a wedding, whether as bride or guest? Have any brides ever worn black? Would you wear black? I mean those days of colors having some meaning, like white = purity, virginity, red = passion/fertility etc etc (i’m not sure exactly what, i’m jus tmaking these off the top of my head, if i’m wrong someone correct me) seem pretty gone now, anything goes… so anyone gonna post black bridal stuff?

As a guest, I have worn a black saree before to a wedding. I’ve seen others in black too … it’s no biggie.

As for the bride herself wearing black … I don’t think it would look that great.
