Re: Black magic
Spare us the anecdotes, please. And read carefully, cuz you don’t. Nobody is denying the “magic” of hard work, a great attitude, planning and strategy. I believe in those things too. However, at the same time I also believe in the unseen. The sun, the moon, many of the naturally occurring phenomena that are a part of our daily lives are not being controlled by us human beings no matter how far we have come in terms of advancements in science and technology. There’s a saying that the greatest trick played by the devil was in convincing people that he doesn’t exist. It seemed to have worked on many people and unfortunately it’s gone to the point that people don’t believe in the existence of God or if they do believe in Allah, they make “light” of things that He has revealed.
Hard work, planning, and goal setting are all important. Using your aqal is essential too. But aqal and iman hand in hand. Relying on just aqal and effort will only go so far. Again spare me the anecdotes of how you, and some woman/man/client/neighbor/kutta/billi/chooha/choonti you knew made it to the pinnacle of whatever through their hard work or conversely reaped their destruction because of some deficiency in attitude and effort. It has to be a combination of qal and iman and iman has a lot to do with faith in the unseen. There has to be a balance. Your posts give me the impression that you are not very much into the deen and so it’s pointless to even discuss this topic. You can mock all you want …which you will no doubt…but you ain’t gonna get it.
I can start my new car using my phone from a thousand miles away, I will bet you 50k that all your black magic guys put together can’t do that. ..the world has F35s, satellites ICBMs we have black magic…yeah sure!!!
