black magic

i would like to know more abt how black magic and how it can be cured in the form of rukkiya…
anyone been effected by these things…? plz share ur experiences..

Re: black magic

Somebody I know had been effected by it. Its a very hard & dangerous test.. whatever happens, don't lose your faith (i.e. by submitting to those who performed it on you). If you do, it will be an act of shirk.

Some Hadeeth & Quranic Verses that are helpful in such situations:

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: If anyone continually asks pardon, Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress, and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide for him from where he did not reckon.
*Dawud :: Book 8 : Hadith 1513 *]

'A'isha reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: There is nothing (in the form of trouble) that comes to a believer even if it is the pricking of a thorn that there is decreed for him by Allah good or his sins are obliterated.
*Muslim :: Book 32 : Hadith 6241 *]

And surely We shall try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and crops; but give glad tidings to the patient, Who says, when afflicted with calamity: “To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return”: They are those on whom (descend) Blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance.
Al-Baqarah 2:155-157 ]

Re: black magic

Thankss...I know its a very very hard..and really really dangerous...depending on how strong its done onto you...
i just would like to know more abt it all and how we cud get it cured the rite way - which is definitly thru quranic verses and actions of rukkiyya...
shirk is a major sin so we havent done anythin of that sort (submitting ourselves to others)
it definitely takes a lot of patience n is a test from allah..
but yet he has the cure to it too...

there are various ways ppl can be effected by sihr (black magic) ...

i would just like to know more..

we've been really patient no matter wat mashallah...

Re: black magic

well my hwole family had been affected by black magic 4 years, as far as i can remember, everytime it gets stronger, i just about lost everything, we tried being patient abut there is only so long 1 can be patient, tey say that u shud read the 3 Qul's to protect ureself 4rm such things, but i'll b honest it didnt really do teh trick 4 us,
we are all very steadfast with our prayers in our family, but black magic has ruint my life,
it affected my grades at school
my health
i'm losing my house
our business is going downhill
the list is endless.....

i know that allah tests us, and we have to pray and keep faith in him

wrong as it may b im kinda losing faith
i hope ure faith remains strong though, just keep praying :) that's all we have

Re: black magic

well i know prolly wat u mean.... i ahve a sibling whose effected by it in its strongest manner....hes basically torn apart from teh family. he was given somethin to eat in the form of a sweet and since hten...theres been so much rifts between him n our family... he more or less i shud say broken apart..we;re still tryin to get him back to us...
its been more than 2 yrs we;re dealing with this..
still strong with our faith mashallah..

ppl have told us to go n get it sihr done so that he can come back..but we were reluctant to even think abt it...its tempting initially..but alhumdulillah we havent done anythin of that sort..

iv also heard so many sorts of things where ppl try to break a family.. or sometimes when jealousy strikes they do it to make the family fall off ..etc etc...so so so many cases..
its really sad.. they say ppl who practise and do it dont even smell the fragrance of heaven..

Re: black magic

so wat do u do? do u just wait for it to go away ?

Re: black magic

Assalamu Alaykum,

I think when they say that you recite the Quls, the important part is that you recite while understanding the meaning so it comes as a supplication from the bottom of your heart. If the meaning is kept in mind, and the Qul is recited, then definitely, it should help insha'Allah. I have also heard that there're narrations that one should recite Surah Baqarah (and Al-i-Imran) as well although I have not verified this. Of course, when one recites, the meaning should be kept in mind. Nonetheless, when An-Nas and Al-Falaq are recited, that should definitely be done.

Supplications from God of course should be sought. And lastly, one should definitely take any 'worldly' actions they have to take. By worldly, I do not mean going to pirs etc, rather that if the business is declining, one also make an effort to understand the causes, do their business planning and then fight the circumstances. We've been asked to both ask God for help and then make an effort. If we 'assume' (or even know) that business is affected by magic and don't make an effort, chances are that even when the magic is gone, since there's no effort, the business might continue to fall. The same is true of all similar 'worldly' cases.

Of course, I am not saying that anyone is not doing that, I just included every thing for the sake of completeness of post.

Best Wishes

Re: black magic

definitely not jst wait..u have to make an effort too...
its a test in many ways.. from patience all the way to the faith..

we did consult quite a few imams and all of them told us it was sihr..we've recited for him...on him...etc..taken him to the imams...and tried our best to do what we could in every way...there were days where he was much better...and u cud see the difference...we did an umrah as well with him..

but the problem is...the person who does the sihr on him is some one who is a very learned and has practised sihr before...and in addition to taht...is very very close to him n some one we dont approve of ...

he doenst really realize it...i dont blame him..cuz when ur under the influence of sihr u wont really know...

Re: black magic

no such thing as black magic.

Re: black magic

Ofcourse there is. Black magic is called Sahar in Arabic.

Al-Qur'an, Surah Al-Baqarah

(102. They followed what the Shayatin (devils) gave out (falsely of the magic) in the lifetime of Sulayman (Solomon). Sulayman did not disbelieve, but the Shayatin (devils) disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things that came down at Babylon to the two angels, Harut and Marut, but neither of these two (angels) taught anyone (such things) till they had said, "We are for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning this magic from us).'' And from these (angels) people learn that by which they cause separation between man and his wife, but they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's leave. And they learn that which harms them and profits them not. And indeed they knew that the buyers of it (magic) would have no share in the Hereafter. And how bad indeed was that for which they sold their own selves, if they but knew.)

(103. And if they had believed and guarded themselves from evil and kept their duty to Allah, far better would have been the reward from their Lord, if they but knew!)

Please also read Surah Falaq and its tafsir.

Re: black magic

When the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) was under the influence of a sahr, he was adv to read the "QULs" from the last juz of the The Quran.
So Simple, al-humdulillah.

Re: black magic

I heard reciting Quls and reciting Surah Yaseen helps.

Re: black magic

When and where exactly it happened? Was it Mecca or Madina?

Re: black magic

Surah Falaq

Period of Revelation
Hadrat Hasan Basri, 'Ikrimah, ‘Ata’ and Jabir bin Zaid say that these Surahs are Makki. A tradition from Hadrat 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas also supports the same view. However, according to another tradition from him, it is Madani and the same view is held also by Hadrat 'Abdullah bin Zubair and Qatadah. One of the traditions which strengthens this second view is the Hadith which Muslim, Tirmidhi, Nasa’i and Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal have related on the authority of Hadrat 'Uqbah bin 'Amir. He says that the Holy Prophet (upon whom be peach) one day said to him: "Do you know what kind of verses have been revealed to me tonight? - these matchless verses are Audhu bi-Rabbil-falaq and Audhu bi-Rabbin-nas. This Hadith is used as an argument for these Surahs to be Madani because Hadrat 'Uqbah bin 'Amir had become a Muslim in Madinah after the hijrah, as related by Abu Da’ud and Nasa’i on the basis of his own statement. Other traditions which have lent strength to this view are those related by Ibn Sa’d, Muhiyy-us-Sunnah Baghawi, Imam Nasafi, Imam Baihaqi, Hafiz Ibn Hajar, Hafiz Badr-uddin 'Ayni, 'Abd bin Humaid and others to the effect that these Surahs were revealed when the Jews had worked magic on the Holy Prophet (upon whom be peace) in Madinah and he had fallen ill under its effect. Ibn Sa’d has related on the authority of Waqidi that this happened in A.H. 7. On this very basis Sufyan bin Uyainah also has described these Surah as Madani.
But as we have explained in the Introduction to Surah Al-Ikhlas, when it is said about a certain Surah or verse that it was revealed on this or that particular occasion, it does not necessarily mean that it was revealed for the first time on that very occasion. Rather it sometimes so happened that a Surah or a verse had previously been revealed, then on the occurrence or appearance of a particular incident or situation, the Holy Prophet’s attention was drawn to it by Allah for the second time, or even again and again. In our opinion the same also was the case with the Mu’awwidhatayn. The subject matter of these Surahs is explicit that these were sent down at Makkah in the first instance when opposition to the Holy Prophet there had grown very intense. Later, when at Madinah storms of opposition were raised by the hypocrites, Jews and polytheists, the Holy Prophet was instructed to recite these very Surahs, as has been mentioned in the above cited tradition from Hadrat Uqbah bin Amir. After this, when magic was worked on him, and his illness grew intense, Gabriel came and instructed him by Allah’s command to recite these very Surahs. Therefore, in our opinion, the view held by the commentators who describe both these Surahs as Makki is more reliable. Regarding them as connected exclusively with the incident of magic is difficult, for to this incident related only one verse (v.4), the remaining verses of Surah Al-Falaq and the whole of Surah An-Nas have nothing to do with it directly.

Theme and Subject-Matter
The conditions under which these two Surahs were sent down in Makkah were as follows. As soon as the Holy Prophet (upon whom be peace) began to preach the message of Islam, it seemed as though he had provoked all classes of the people around him. As his message spread the opposition of the disbelieving Quraish also became more and more intense. As long as they had any hope that they would be able to prevent him from preaching his message by throwing some temptation in his way, or striking some bargain with him, their hostility did not become very active. But when the Holy Prophet disappointed them completely that he would not effect any kind of compromise with them in the matter of faith, and in Surah Al-Kafirun they were plainly told: “I do not worship those who you worship nor are you worshipers of Him Whom I worship. For you is your religion and for me is mine”, the hostility touched its extreme limits. More particularly, the families whose members (men or women, boys or girls) had accepted Islam, were burning with rage from within against the Holy Prophet. They were cursing him, holding secret consultations to kill him quietly in the dark of the night so that the Bani Hashim could not discover the murderer and take revenge; magic and charms were being worked on him so as to cause his death, or make him fall ill, or become mad; satans from among the men and the jinn spread on every side so as to whisper one or another evil into the hearts of the people against him and the Qur’an brought by him so that they became suspicious of him and fled him. There were many people who were burning with jealousy against him, for they could not tolerate that a man from another family or clan than their own should flourish and become prominent. For instance, the reason why Abu Jahl was crossing every limit in his hostility to him has been explained by himself: “We and the Bani Abdi Manaf (to which the Holy Prophet belonged) were rivals of each other: they fed others, we too fed others; they provided conveyances to the people, we too did the same; they gave donations, we too gave donations, so much so that when they and we have become equal in honor and nobility, they now proclaim that they have a Prophet who is inspired from the heaven; how can we compete with them in this field? By God, we will never acknowledge him, nor affirm faith in him”. (Ibn Hisham, vol. I, pp. 337-338).
Such were the conditions when the Holy Prophet (upon whom be peace) was commanded to tell the people: “I seek refuge with the Lord of the dawn, from the evil of everything that He has created, and from the evil of the darkness of night and from the evil of magicians, men and women, and from the evil of the envious”, and to tell them: “I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, and the Deity of mankind, from the evil of the whisperer, who returns over and over again, who whispers (evil) into the hearts of men, whether he be from among the jinn or men.” This is similar to what the Prophet Moses had been told to say when Pharaoh had expressed his design before his full court to kill him: “I have taken refuge with my Lord and your Lord against every arrogant person who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning.” (Al-Mu’min: 27). And: “I have taken refuge with my Lord and your Lord lest you should assail me.” (Ad- Dukhan;20).
On both occasions these illustrious Prophets of Allah were confronted with well-equipped, resourceful and powerful enemies. On both occasions they stood firm on their message of Truth against their strong opponents, whereas they had no material power on the strength of which they could fight them, and on both occasions they utterly disregarded the threats and dangerous plans and hostile devices of the enemy, saying: “We have taken refuge with the Lord of the universe against you.” Obviously, such firmness and steadfastness can be shown only by the person who has the conviction that the power of His Lord is the supreme power, that all powers of the world are insignificant against Him, and that no one can harm the one who has taken His refuge. Only such a one can say: “I will not give up preaching the Word of Truth. I care the least for what you may say or do, for I have taken refuge with my Lord and your Lord and Lord of all universe.”

http://alhudapk.com/audio-video/quran.asp
second box has a link for treatment.also playing or reciting surah bakara for 3 consecutive days also is beneficial

Re: black magic

good, so nobody knows when it happened. Yet they are sure it happened.
Sura Falaq could very well be asking believers to not get into this black magic stuff or believe in it. yet bcoz of it alone, people believe in this sort of things, that otherwise cannot be proven.

Re: black magic

Astaghfirullah! If someone on this forum rejects a man-made hadith they are termed kafir and you are directly invalidating our Prophet by putting him under the spell of black magic? Another gem from the wrong narrators.

Re: black magic

WS

GOD - there is no deity save Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being. Neither slumber overtakes Him, nor sleep. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth. Who is there that could intercede with Him, unless it be by His leave? He knows all that lies open before men and all that is hidden from them, whereas they cannot attain to aught of His knowledge save that which He wills [them to attain]. His eternal power overspreads the heavens and the earth, and their upholding wearies Him not. And he alone is truly exalted, tremendous.
Ayat Al-Kursi**, Verse 255, Surah Al-Baqarah **]

This particular Ayat, from start to end, describes the greatness of Allah (swt). It correlates with my previous post about not submitting to others, and keeping the meaning of this ayat in mind is exactly what is recommended to pass this trial. Do not commit shirk. If you even go to the person who had done the magic, and say something like “please stop; you win, etc” it will count as shirk, since you chose the doer of magic as a helper & did not bear the burden patiently and receive Allah’s help.

Virtues of Reciting Ayat al-Kursi:

A number of hadeeths relating specifically to this ayat.

One should also remember this verse of Surah Fatiha: you alone we worship, and** you alone we beseech for help**

Some more (relative) verses from the Quran, relating to magic, jinns, shaytaan, etc:

  • Surah Al-Fatihah (chapter 1): verses 1 to 7
  • Surah Al-Bakarah (chapter 2): verses 1 to 5, 163, 255 to 257, and 284 to 286
  • Surah Al-Imran (chapter 3): verses 18, 26 and 27
  • Surah Al-A’araf (chapter 7): verses 54 to 56
  • Surah Al-Israa (chapter 17): verses 110 and 111
  • Surah Al-Muminoon (chapter 23): verses 115 to 118
  • Surah Al-Saaffaat (chapter 37): verses 1 to 11
  • Surah Al-Rehman (chapter 55): verses 33 to 40
  • Surah Al-Hashr (chapter 59): verses 21 to 24
  • Surah Al-Jinn (chapter 72): verses 1 to 4
  • Surah Al-Kaafiroon (chapter 109): verses 1 to 6
  • Surah Al-Ikhlas (chapter 112): verses 1 to 4
  • Surah Al-Falaq (chapter 113): verses 1 to 5
  • Surah Al-Naas (chapter 114): verses 1 to 6

I actually knew a family (very close) who had been affected by blackmagic, few years ago. I’ve done a lot of research on this topic. Unfortunately, most of the family passed away, but I learned that there were a lot of things involved in blackmagic. Let me warn you: BEWARE OF PIRs, fortune-tellers, astrologists, etc. You will harm yourself without even knowing it, if you listen to such people.

One last thing I would like to contribute: you need to submit yourself to a jinn in order to perform magic.

Re: black magic

Ahadith about Prophet(SAW) being under the influence of magic are authentic but the only problem that some people have with accepting those sahih ahadith bcoz they are narrated by Aisha(ra) and Ibn Abbas(ra).

Re: black magic

I thonk you missed this main point:

"But as we have explained in the Introduction to Surah Al-Ikhlas, when it is said about a certain Surah or verse that it was revealed on this or that particular occasion, it does not necessarily mean that it was revealed for the first time on that very occasion. Rather it sometimes so happened that a Surah or a verse had previously been revealed, then on the occurrence or appearance of a particular incident or situation, the Holy Prophet's attention was drawn to it by Allah for the second time, or even again and again. In our opinion the same also was the case with the Mu'awwidhatayn. "

Surah Falaq is more likely a dua for protection of Allah from evil, black magic and envy.
