GOD - there is no deity save Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being. Neither slumber overtakes Him, nor sleep. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth. Who is there that could intercede with Him, unless it be by His leave? He knows all that lies open before men and all that is hidden from them, whereas they cannot attain to aught of His knowledge save that which He wills [them to attain]. His eternal power overspreads the heavens and the earth, and their upholding wearies Him not. And he alone is truly exalted, tremendous.
Ayat Al-Kursi**, Verse 255, Surah Al-Baqarah **]
This particular Ayat, from start to end, describes the greatness of Allah (swt). It correlates with my previous post about not submitting to others, and keeping the meaning of this ayat in mind is exactly what is recommended to pass this trial. Do not commit shirk. If you even go to the person who had done the magic, and say something like “please stop; you win, etc” it will count as shirk, since you chose the doer of magic as a helper & did not bear the burden patiently and receive Allah’s help.

I actually knew a family (very close) who had been affected by blackmagic, few years ago. I’ve done a lot of research on this topic. Unfortunately, most of the family passed away, but I learned that there were a lot of things involved in blackmagic. Let me warn you: BEWARE OF PIRs, fortune-tellers, astrologists, etc. You will harm yourself without even knowing it, if you listen to such people.
One last thing I would like to contribute: you need to submit yourself to a jinn in order to perform magic.
