I've asked people to do black magic on me on purpose. That was about 10 years ago. Nothing. :) I am healthy as ever. If anything, i have gotten to travel the world, and have a great job, and make pretty great amount of money.

I'm glad you took it so lightly and subjected yourself to something so serious...you need to understand that it is not easy for the ones doing it either..reason being it takes a lot of energy out of them as well, and it has to have purpose..furthermore, only selected can actually do it...

Allah swt tests His people to see who uses it for evil, the translation of the Surah shud be enuff to answer all..

I have a question that may sound completely off the wall so please forgive me if its blindingly obvious. Maybe Im missing something here...
Are the above lines talking about the actual existence of black magic or the belief in them? Its two different things, isnt it? Believing in any sort of divine power aside from Allah's (swt) is a sin and therefore evil, right? BUT that does not mean it exists. Could this mean He is forbidding us from putting faith in anything/anyone else aside from Him?
Im so confused about this stuff. How can anything/anyone else alter the course of someone's life aside from Allah (swt)? Isnt that why we pray to him? Because only HE can control life? Furthermore, how can Muslims believe in it?

Before this happened to me, honestly I had no strong belief in Mairaj Mubarak when our Prophet (Pbuh) went in skies to meet Allah on BURAQ (his ride). But now, while seeing the JINN roaming in my room at the speed faster than a JET aircraft, I truly believe in Mairaj Mubarak. The JINN never shows himself up even when u r in magic. They are ordered not to. But he could not resist when I fought with MAGIC and kept reciting. He tried his best to possess me for two weeks but didnt succeed and had to go.

Some desire money, they get money. But then put lock on their desires for other things, like kids. Some are given all daughters (no son) and some are rewarded with sons (no daughters). Some enjoy life with everything and when kids grow up, they end up in disaster. So, the best is to seek Allahs forgiveness and follow Islam and never do bad.

As I've said before, this Surah was brought-down after the Prophet suffered from it. It's unfair to blame every misfortune on black magic, but that doesn't mean it's not practiced and doesn't exist. Once the Prophet pbuh was facing acute problems Allah swt sent-down Surah-e-Falak..
