Does anyone know what causes black circles under eyes? And more importantly how do you get rid of them? I am not sure but I am guessing these circles are a result of not getting enough sleep or weak eye sight? I tend to sleep more on certain days and less on other days.

well there are many causes for dark circles...sometimes it's just hereditary, lack of sleep, and/or lack of iron.

severe sinus problems and allergies also cause dark circles.

Whenever u r putting on a makeup make sure to use light tones of eye shadow!
Brown or dark shades make dark circles more prominent!

as mentioned by other gals…the causes are many. if ur not worried about sleep, diet, smoking then it might be dehydrated skin. in that case you need to moisturize the area. u can use ur regular moisturizer or honey will also do the job.

Yep i have a dry skin and moisturizer is a must for me. I dont leave home without applying moisturizer. I even have moisturizer in my car. But then why do i still have them circles?

Yeah...you can try cucumber thingy too...I have heard it often...
But take good amount of rest as well as good amout of physical movements...maintain some balance...
If you want to get rid of your circles fast...get as much physical movements till you drop...but then you have to take lots of calories too...most probably you would look great and feel good...
PS: My guess is that people with circles are deep down in themselves...or they are encountering some fatigue which they can't stand...

hai hai so true. i got dark circles these days . theres a mouse in my room that keeps me up all night. saala mousetrap mein se brownie kha giya and didnt get caught.

sajal: i too have read about tea bags in numerous magazines. as far as dehydrated skin being the cause. moisturizing daily and then heavily for couple of nights will do the job. same applies to using honey…but wash it off after 15 min.
