Without knowing your budget or what’s possible in USA, here are a few of my ideas:

• A surprise weekend trip for just the two of you - preferably a place he likes/enjoys
• Experience gifts like helicopter trip as co-pilot or parachute jump or test driving a Ferrari or learn to dive?
• Small surprise party at home with his close friends?
• New laptop/phone/gadget/whatever
• Clothes?
• A tailor made suit?
• Tickets for sportsgame if he is into that.

very nice suggestion i like the helicopter trip will work to make it happen?
