Hey everyone,
Its my husbands birthday next month- we both live in different countries, so i dunno what to get him! He is into electronics (and all the latest models are more accessible to him than me)…Ive already given a cologne,wallet,clothes etc…
What else do you think i can give him (either when he comes) or send by post?

A nice watch would be a good idea. Accompanied with a romantic card, and a hand written note or letter would make it more special. Or you could also buy a wedding band engraved with your names etc...Im sure anything you send would be appreciated..its the thought that counts:)

Gave the wedding band at our Nikah, and the watch is for the Rukhsati this dec inshAllah! :)

The letter will definately be the highlight...it certainly was for me too when my wife sent me one from Pakistan last year.
Between the Xbox and PS3 - Id recommend the PS3 - with the blue ray player included and the variety of games you can get, its better than the XBOX 360.

i'm thinking of getting my fiance and apple i-pad for shadi, since his b-day isnt coming anytime soon, not before shadi anyway. he likes apple gadgets, and has an i-phone already or i would have gotten him that. he initially wanted a mac book but changed his mind and got himself a different laptop, and has been regretting his decision ever since :P , so i thought an i-pad would cheer him up . i think it would make him happy and plus i can use it as well whenever i want, which is a plus ;) it is a bit pricy, but im thinking of not getting him a watch for the wedding, he doesnt even wear one, i know its a depart from tradition but what ever :P i know this will make him happier.
a PS3 is a really good idea as well, just make sure your fiance doesnt have it already, and if you are getting that for him, then definelty try to take some interest in it as well, because you might feel left out once he gets addicted to it! (and that will happen :) )

My husband is a workaholic, I doubt he'd be addicted to PS3 or Xbox, i guess ill be using it more when i get to canada:p He already has a laptop and intends buying another desktop when we move to our new place inshAllah...
He isnt an apple fan, and loves his Nokia! He intends buying N8 (which is yet to be released)...and it would release later in Pakistan so its not a good idea :s
@Mustana: I think an mp3 player would be cool. Sony has good ones, or some other brand?
@Hollywood: How much does the blueray PS3 cost btw? Is it easily portable? As in, it shouldnt be a problem when i take it with me to Canada right? (with alot of my 'excess luggage') :s

I recommend some really nice Luxury Sheets. My husband likes to sleep in the buff, so I gave him some really nice sheets. He went bananas. Plus, I get the benefit of the present as well.

I got my husband an ipod shuffle for his last birthday, and got it engarved with a cheeky personalized message :hehe: He uses it at the gym every day 
Ayesha, PS3 (250 Gigs) is for $350… Pakistan mein it will be expensive I think, you’d be better off buying it in canada.
If your husband likes to read, I would recommend getting him a Kindle… its pretty awesome
