Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

Interesting thread.. use whatever.. if you you are suppose to get pregnant nothing is gona save you unless you two are in different rooms :-D

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

like morning after pill, a man not ejaculating inside the woman...exercising self control....or having sex during a certain period of the cycle when a woman is less likely to conceive...or a combination of all.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

Ok i really am not super knowledgeable of the situation but i thought its cool to just not ejaculate inside a girl...but to withdraw...but what im gathering here is withdrawal doesnt guarantee her not being pregantn?

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

Even if you ejaculate inside her...she is not guaranteed to get pregnant...lot of couples try to have kids for years without success.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms…

Right.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

I think it goes back to if your meant to have kids it will happen. I know some people who have never taken the pill but do not have any kids. Then I also know friends who took the pill, got off and got pregnant very quickly. So its just kismet also whether you are meant to have kids or not. Maybe those same people who think they can't have kids due to birth control, might not have been that fertile at all?

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

If you can have kids then be grateful to Allah for that....I know some married couples that cannot have kids and they would do anything to have kids, you can see how much they long for a child.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

Naughty, I'm not trying to be mean, but you're rather uninformed about birth control. You asked earlier what kind of guy would use a condom when he's married. Plenty! Not everyone wants their wife to be perpetually pregnant. It's not good for her or for their marriage. It's a convenient, affordable, and reversible form of contraception that doesn't have any side effects (other than allergic reactions in a small percentage of the population). The thing is that once a woman gets pregnant once, her body goes into fertile mode, and for a lot of women, getting pregnant again is too easy for comfort.

As far as "natural" methods, like withdrawal, they're all very risky. Pre-ejaculate (the clear stuff) can easily have sperm in it, and all it takes is one sperm to impregnate a woman. Counting days is extremely risky, and women are known to release more than one egg in a cycle at different times. There is something called the sympto-thermal (Billings) method, which takes body temperature and other subtle physical signs into consideration, but you have to be committed to it in order for it to work, but that too has a sizeable failure rate.

Pills have a lot of risk involved with them. Things like blood clots didn't happen to just one person, they happened to several. The warnings that come with them delineate between what's common and what's not common. But for example, melasma happens to a lot of women on the pill, and it's hard for desi women to get rid of that once it happens. Is it worth ruining your skin and getting self esteem issues when you could use another type of birth control? The risk for breast cancer is increased with the pill. Pharmaceutical companies will argue that it reduces ovarian cancer risk, but the risk for ovarian cancer is naturally far less than that of breast cancer, which affects many many more women. Also, empirically, I've noticed that women who've been on the pill for many years (like 5+) have a tougher time conceiving later on. Even doctors say that for every month you are on the pill, that is how long it will take your body to go back to regulating itself. So if you take the pill for five years, it'll take five years for your body to have no traces of this hormone therapy. I'm not against the pill by any means, and it's very effective, but you can't pretend there aren't side effects to it.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms…

this is what i was saying to…if a guy really loves and cares about a girl…he wouldnt want her to take pills.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms…

morning after pill? :rotfl:

do you know how bad that is for a woman? ur only allowed to have it maximum once or twice in a year…cuz it has many side effects…and is the worst one out of all of them.

man not ejaculating inside…it doesnt work …like i said pre-discharge can get a woman pregnant too…

even having sex during only certain times of the month can get a woman pregnant…

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

Morning after pill is NOT a reliable form of contraception!! You're not sposed to take it on a regular basis, it's used mainly for rape victims and ppl who forgot to use any birth control the night before, so it's sposed to be used only in case of emergency.
the natural or rhythm method is crap, and plus why wud u wanna exercise self control when ure married? It's only traditional Catholicism (which forbids EVERY form of birth control) that makes married couples NOT have sex w/ each other.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

I guess use of latex (condoms) is forbidden by many Islamic scholars.. abortion is un-islamic but women taking birth control pill is far better an option. But sadly, one of the side effects of birth control pills is that they put on excess weight :(

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

^THAT's your concern about birth control pills? The fact that your wife will gain weight? Not the fact that there are other serious health risks?

Jeez Loueez. Sometimes I can't believe what I read here.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

condoms are prohibited?

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

tenu khabar nai wei? tay hallay tussi tasbeeh lenwa chahidey

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

i don,t have that much knowledge about contraception methods but 1 thing i heard is that pills r very dangerous and could even cost ur wife her existence so in my opinion condoms r a very good alternatieve option for husbands if they truly love and care for their wifes health though i don,t know they r even allowed in islam :o

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms…

I dunno any reason why if pills are allowd then condoms would NOT be allowed. That’s unheard of to me :hmmm:
Mulz, provide refences or any fatwa that says condoms are specifically forbidden , saying “I guess” doesn’t cut it :mocking:
