It is an interesting shouting match between the two news personalities. Bill O’Reilly who fights for conservatives, is seen here going at it, at one point it looked like he was about to choke Geraldo Rivera’s neck. Geraldo’s beliefs on this issue seems to be more in line with his Puerto Rican roots. In any sense, it is a total and complete melt down.
The back story to the incident is that an illegal immigrant was accused of killing two girls in Virginia Beach last week while he was allegedly driving intoxicated. The same illegal immigrant had early brushes with the law.

Compare the numbers of white drunk drivers v/s this illegal immigrant. They can lock up and deport ALL illegal immigrants but guess what, there still be drunk drivers (mostly white) killing kids and adults in America. It's a sad fact which Bill Orally conveniently forgets when making a "cheap political point".

hey i dont usually see american news here in canada, but once in a while they put FOX or MSNBC programs on and man are these people rude! They invite people to get their opinions and then the anchor cuts them off whenever he feels like it and starts yappin his own agenda. Even the way they are talking like they have a few breaths left and want to hurridly make their point.
Our canadian news anchors are all polite and civilized and let people state their opinions even if they differ with them. I really wonder how people in america stand these idiots for week after week?

But I agree with geraldo. 17000 deaths beCAUSE of DUI. One illegal immigrant does it and they are all jumping up and down. This particular issue is DUI, not illegal immigration. If he's a repeat offender, do something about it. Legal americans are repeat offenders too,,, where are you going to deport those to??? have tougher penalties, jail terms. Change your laws.
Good work Geraldo. However, the debate was very unprofessional and that O'Reilly dude is to blame. I found The mostached warrior quite level headed and calm but assertive,, good qualities.

two different issues here.
on drunk driving issue, I completely agree with Geraldo, drunk driving is drunk driving and that needs to be tackled. Just yesterday on the news they had some dude in chicago who killed a bunch of kids and the girl riding with him in his car while he was drunk, served a couple of years in jail, got out and just killed some more ppl while driving drunk.
Now on the issue of illegal immigration, if law enforcement picks people up, for whatever crime, drunk drving, car jacking, gang fights, if the perps are illegal, deport them.

u'r right they souldn't be in US and the authorities should get rid of them but saying they are all drunk drivers and trying to link this tragedy to illegal immigration is nothing but political BS.
