Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

So the cat is out of the sack now! any doubts on US’s intentions now? they have done the same with East-Taimor, South Sudan and now they have picked up Balochistan… and all while we were their friends.. they non-NATO ally and the liberals in Pakistan beating drums on the support US provides us.

Yes now we have reasons to believe that it is none other but US who have its hand in destabilizing Balochistan, it is No one but US who have armed Talibans of TTP and have them fight against Pak-Army… and yes it was US who was behind Fazulullah of Swat… and all this, because US want to disintegrate Pakistan… every time they planned something went wrong, sometime their hired guns aka talibans of Swat get defeated to quickly and some time their TTP of FATA was pushed out of Pakistani territory…

Obviously, when all the proxies failed, then US had to take direct action by itself… first raid in Abottabad, in the name of OBL..then raid on Pakistani Post.. and now on political front, the these resolutions and bills…

This has been the fate of every US ally, anyone who has not been from West Europe and has been US ally, they have suffered from this… be it Cambodia, be it Iraq or be it Iran or any other country..

I don’t know what will be the fate of this bill in US but one thing i know, there is no use of UN as if America decides to launch a war against Pakistan, UN would be mere spectator.. so Pakistan have to strengthen its ties with China, with Turkey, with Russia and with all the neighboring countries.. remember if it is Pakistan today, then the same can be brought for Indians as well.. but i don’t think that Indians will understand this at the moment.

Anyway, there are few things Pakistan need to do on this internally on this front… but one thing is for sure, Pakistan need not to sit watch it quietly… i don’t think so it have been long since Pakistan have re-opened to NATO supply, i think it is the time to shut it down all together and tell all the ships at the dockyard to move out and find some other port for their docking…

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

Either we don't have proof of US / india etc involvment or this country deserves to get what it is getting because pakistanis are a bunch of scary pussies.

I mean seriously, why not take it to the UN even if it is not for US involvement? Didn't india take its problem to the UN? Sure, there might be a veto like what happened to the syrian resolution, but at least people would know pakistani side of the facts.

Right now, Pakistan is a paranoid bull****ter who can't get its house in order but elects to send terrorists to solve its problems in its neighbors. You may not like it but that is what a lot of people perceive when they hear of Pakistan.

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

^^ Taking our internal matter to UN, are you smoking something new today?

The unrest in Balochistan was not there in 90s... when did the recent wave started yes, when US occupied Afghanistan and when Pakistan decided to give an easy or free pass to Americans...

Read the news again... and if you still have not get it, try to ask someone to explain it to you... the Crime against Humanity in Kashmir, Assam, and Red Corridor by Indian Army are far greater then Pak-Army have committed in Balochistan, the way, Turks have handled Kurd Rebellions might give you some nightmares, Turks even crossed borders many time and have used it Air force to take down alleged assets of Kurd Rebellions... so why pointing finger to Pakistan...

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

India considers kashmir as "integral part of india" itself, but did it stop it from talking about it? In fact, such a scenario lends one more credibility as external forces are not supposed to 'interfere' in internal matters.

PS The OP of the balochistan news thread and others might disagree with you on who did how many crimes against humanity, but the thread is NOT about a resolution for sovereignty for parts of india and/or turkey.

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

all this drama is for GWADAR port .. isnt it?

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

The responsibility of this lies on each of us, the failed policies of the army and the government, the lack of interest of media, other provinces and opposition. While the balochis were crying that their people are being killed and thrown out on the streets we were happy that American and Indian agents are being killed. Our army is living in the 1990's when they thought that by gagging the media no one would know what's happening with them but the balochis used alternate media like twitter to have their voice heard.

Now ask the army to go and kill all the anti state elements and emerge victorious like 1971, during the past when ever some political solution was sought to the problem the army blocked its way. If the Americans get convinced that a genocide is being carried out they will interfere there doesn't matter if we like it or not. For our assemblies and politicians 20th amendment, memogate are more important than this issue.

Very quickly we are losing out of options now it does not matter who we blame for our problems (aliens or martians). The fact is that this is the way of working of our army, they create crisis's for themselves and then cry foul. All those people who have been saying all along that our army is taking us to another 1971 have been laughed at, but now we dont have any time and I dont expect any solution from the current government and military leadership.

Seriously I think now we have missed the bus (a couple of months back we were in the upper position), now the militants have a much better position diplomatically.

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

The saddest part of the whole saga is that a bill has been presented in American congress in favour of Baloch people (if you disregard the right to self determination part for a minute), how many such bills have been passed in Pakistan's National assembly and senate? One resolution was recently passed and even that was not in favour of Baloch people (just to condemn American hearing on Balochistan).

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

^^ When we talk about Baloch People whom we are talking about?

The three hundred + sardars who have done nothing in their lives but suffocated the rights of common Balochies in the name of traditions? Bugti who himself and his sons are foreign graduate have castle like house in Dera Bugti and rest of the town is just a mud-hut? please elaborate who are baloch people according to you and Americans?

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

There is more to it,

With Pakistan developing serious strategic relations with Iran, China, Russia and Turkey ( in other words constructing a strong block from which India won't be able to stay out for long) there are little options US have left... they need to make sure that they are present in the region, somewhere where their forces are welcomed and not thrashed as they are in Iraq and Afghanistan... and the best place would be none other but Balochistan... where all US have to do is to give more power to Baloch sardars to suffocate their people more ( just like they are doing in Arab states) and pump all the money in US or for the US interest...

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

central asian oil has to come via afghanistan,, FATA and balochistan.
China has designs on it as in gwadar.
saudis and UAE has vested interest because it impacts their business
and US has to safeguard its interests vis a vis China
interesting times, interesting situations.

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

@CM was right.

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

Rohrabacher is attention ho. He should be ignored & hang traitor Afridi ASAP.

Btw, Balochistan also includes part of Iran and Afghanistan.

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

what cm said ?

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

here you go

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

Ali, do you really think they give a $hit about Baloch people??

Every Pakistani i have met to date is equally surprised why Baloch people don't get their rights. Maybe i am too ignorant but can't believe that every successive government in the last 60+ years has ignored Baloch people. It's fine if people want to believe that Punjabis don't want to give Balochis their rights but i am sure we have Muhajir, Sindhi, Pathan rulers as well, what did they do for Balochis??

My point is that the problem is not t's not just non Balochis depriving Balochis of their rights but their sardars themselves don't help their cause either. People cry about supposedly a GREAT leader Bugti being murdered but was he really great for Balochistan? These kind of people are not fighting for common Balochis but for their own control over these people.

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

Amazing isn't it? This is supposedly our ally and here they are discussing dismembering the country. And American's wonder why they are disliked in Pakistan and most of the world. Mark my words. After Iran we are next on the list for a US invasion.

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

CM: I dont think US needs invasion. Our political/military leadership voluntarily submit nukes to US.

Re: Bill on Balochistan lands in US congress

so called US LAWMAKER tweets … just look at his language

"This is Dana Rohrabacher’s Twitter account, a US Representative who seems to be in love with Balochistan at the moment. If this is the type of language a US Representative is using, I guess it’s safe to assume what his mentality is. This man should be sacked for using racial slurs - there is no room for any politician in the world to use such degrading words.

It’s also somewhat ironic that this a…ll began around the same time Iranian President Mehmood Ahmedinejad was visiting Islamabad.

If any of our friends are currently in the United States, please forward our complaint to him."
