This is starting of the Book - Bilal (RA) by Saleem Gilani. A novel written in first person. Just got this book from a book fair and I’m hooked with this beautifully written book.

Its really interesting and narrative is so captivating. The writer love for the Prophet is evident from the writing style. A must read book

I have read half of the book and this book just told me what the Ishq e Rasool is. I've started loving the Prophet and his companions after knowing the feelings they have for each other.

After reading all this I started thinking whether they gone through all this difficult time to give us some metaphorical stories of old nations (our liberal Muslims think so). It was a revolution which changed Arabs. Arabs who were busy in fighting for petty issues and have no standing in the world became torch bearers. How? It was the Prophet and the book of Allah. The prophet didn't come with any miracles out of this world. Quran is full of verses, where Prophet has been asked to tell the people that he was not there to show miracles. Everything is in the hands of Allah and His message through Quran changed the destiny of nations.

Abu Lahab ke hath toot gaye
aur wo barbaad ho gaya
na uska maal uske kaam aaya na uski kamai
wo ik sho'ala zan aag main paRe ga
wo bhi aur uski bivi bhi
lakRiyan laad kar laane wali.
uski gardan main rassi pade gi
khoob bati hui

I recall reading this point made by some aalim, mentioned by Mumtaz Mufti somewhere. is jesay aur bhi nuqtay hongay, lekin Quraan ki hifazat ka zimma bhi Usnay liya hay Jiski baqi ye sab makhlooq hain, He knew what they cannot and will not do.

Makke se hijrat ka mamla tha, uss waqt jab her shakhs hamare khoon ka piyasa dikahi deta tha. sher ke munh se niwala chheen'ne wali baat thi. ek muham ke liye mujhe quaid chuna gaya. chhup chhupa kar Makke se nikalna tha aur chhupte chhupate Madine puhnchna tha.
Iss zimma dari ke liye ek sabiq ghulam se behtar kon quaid ho sakta tha kiyunke ghulam ke to khoon main hi farar ki khwahish shamil hoti hai. aisi muham ki kamyabi ka inhisaar quaid ki salahiyaton ke ilawa do aur baton per hota hai. ek to ye ke manzil e maqsood kitni khush aaind aur kitni pur-kashish hai aur doosre ye ke jiss azaab se faraar matloob hai wo kis had tak jaan leva hai.
Hamari manzil e maqsood Madina thi. shimaal ka ik khoobsuart, shadaab shehr aur jis ke khof se hum farar chahte the wo tha Abu Jahl. Jab Muham ke liye halaat itne sazgar hon to meri kamyabi yaqeeni thi. aag ugalta huwa Abu Jahl jaisa Iblees peeche laga ho to kon hai jo jaan ki baazi nahin laga de ga.

This is how Islam changed the overall scenario in just 2-3 decades:
Abu Jahl ne koshish ki, Abu Sufiyan aur Abu Lahab ne boht sir maara ke Muhammad Rah e Raast per aa jaen. Rah e Rast se unki murad ye thi ke wo mushrikeen ke nuqta e nazar ko tasleem kar len aur apne deen ki isha’at se baaz aa jaen. Unhon ne unhe rishwat, mansab, ikhtiyar yahan tak ke kaabe ki aamadni main hissa tak pesh kiya. wo bewaqoof shayad ye samajhte the ke risaalat zameen se nikalne wali dhaaton ke iwaz kharidi ja sakti hai. saare harbe be-asar huwe aur ik din Makke ke tool o arz main Muhammad ka ye ilan goonj utha:

"agar tum mere da’en hath per sooraj la kar rakh do aur ba’en hath per chand tab bhi paigham e Ilahi ki tableegh se baaz na aaonga’**.
Her shaks uss ilan ki baat kar raha tha. koi alal ilan aur koi sargoshiyon main iss bayan ki qata’iyat per tabsira kar raha tha. Mushrikeen e Makka ne jab Muhammad ke munh se ye alfaaz sune to hakka bakka reh gaye. unko laga ke jaise sari bisaat hi ulat’ti ja rahi hai. Ye kehte huwe Muhammad ko un per tars bhi aaya ke kiyun wo itni sada si haqeeqat ko nahi pa rahe. Chalte chalte unhon ne mushrikeen se ye bhi kaha:

"aur tum apni aulad ke qatl se baaz raho’**
Aulad ke qatl se kiya murad hai, ye main aap k batata hoon. Dar asl Muhammad ki taleemaat ne guzashta tees saal main duniya ko iss tez raftari se aage badhaya hai ke hairat hoti hai ke hum abhi tak zameen per kaise mojud hain. Zamane ki barq raftari ne kurra e arz se hamare paon ukhaR kar hamen kisi aur sayyare per kiyun nahin phenk dia.
Aulad ka qatl sirf tees saal purani baat hai lekin mehsoos hota hai jaise kisi sadiyon purane rivaj ka zikr ho raha ho. Jab Nabiyye Kareem ne ye alfaz kahe the unka ba’eena yehi matlab tha. Islam se pehle sehra e Arab main bache ke mustaqbil ka faisla shikm e maadar se bahir aate hi ho jata tha. LaRka hai to usse zinda rehne dia jae ga. uski wilaadat per jashn hoga. LaRki hai to mustaqbil tareek. us per sargoshiyan hongi. Agar khandan main pehle se hi laRkiyan ziada hain ya qabeele ke khemon main unki khatir khuwah ta’daad mojud hai to no-za’ida laRki ko paida hote hi sehra main le jaya jae ga aur uss per rait daal kar usse zinda dafn kar dia jae ga.
Unke paas iss baheemana rasm ke baqa’ida jawaaz the.
" Hum zindagi ko mehfooz rakhne ke liye zindagi khatm karte hain."
“LaRkiyon ka qatl dar asl sehrai ma’eeshat ka taqaza hai. unka apna faisla nahin hai”
“Ghurbat main bachi zinda rakhne ka matlab yehi hai ke ek bhooke pet ka aur izafa hogaya”
“LaRki aabadi main aur ifaze ka ba’is bunti hai”
“Hum LaRkiyon ko khatm karke laRkon aur laRkiyon ke darmiyan apne khudaon ke paida kiye huwe adm tawaazun ko durst karte hain, kiyunke hamare haan laRke kam aur laRkiyan ziada paida hoti hain”
So this is how the Prophet changed the society in short span of time through verses of Quran. Now liberals and lovers of freedom of expression like Rushdie call these verses Satanic Verses. Shame on those who talk and support such ideas

Azadi ki taleem
Maine Abu Bakr ko aate dekha to ek martaba phir unka shukriya ada kiya ke unhon ne mujhe khareed kar azaad kiya. meri baat khatam bhi nahin hui thi ke ulta unhon ne mera shukr ada karna shroo kar diya, goya mera hi un per ihsaan tha aur goya wo raqam bhi maine hi di thi jis se mujhe khareeda gaya tha. Abu Bakr kehne lage : 'Rasoolallah farmate hain ke ghulamon ko azad karne se Allah ta'ala khush hota hai'.
ye baat unhon ne sharmate sharmate kahi aur ye baat kehte huwe unki zaban laRkhaRai bhi. shayad iss liye ke apni imandari se majboor hokar wo mere hi samne aitraaf kar rahe the ke unhon ne mujhe apne sawaab ki gharaz se azad karwaya hai, lekin naik kamon ke pas manzar main iss tarah ki roohani khud-gharzi to her deen ka hissa hai.
Wo kehne lage: Bilal ab tumhe nae kaam karne honge aur itne sakht kaam ke pehle kabhi na kiye honge.
Mere munh se ma'an nikla : Jo hukm aaqa!
Mere jawab se unhe buht dukh puhncha. mujhe bhi fori tor per ihsaas huwa ke ye alfaz keh kar main dubara apne mazi ki zulmat main dakhil hogaya aur ab itni tareeki main hoon ke pata nahin unhe nazar bhi aa raha hoon ke nahin. Maine teen na-munasib alfaaz hi nahin kahe the balke unhe kehte huwe ghulamon ke makhsoos andaz main apna sir bhi jhukaya tha.
Abu Bakr ne doodh ka bartan zameen per rakha aur donon hathon se mere donon kaan pakaR liye aur meri peshani se apni peshani baar baar takrate huwe kaha: 'Bilal! ghor se suno. tum ek azad insaan ho. tumhara koi aaqa nahin hai. lekin aazad raha kaise jata hai ye tumhe seekhna hai'.
Ye kehte ja rahe the aur peshani se takren marte ja rahe the. main her takar per haan haan keh raha tha. phir wo yakka yak huns paRe aur mere kaan choR diye.
Dekho Bilal! main tumhe yehi sikha sakta hoon ke jab koi tum se mukhatib ho to chonk na paRo. baat karte waqt logon ke chehron per nazar rakho aur apne saye ko apna hi saya samjho. ye sab zaroori baten hain...
