cream wax is generally used for sensitive skin
you cant take it off using water, it is removed using baby oil.
about removing hair from the back.
sit with your back towards the mirror. (the mirror should be against the wall and wide enough for a good view) I use the tall ones from walmart.
bend forward and twist to view yourself in the mirror, examine the growth of the hair and apply the wax IN THE DIRECTION of the hair growth, then pull in the opposite direction.
Always do it in small patches, it is easier, the job is done neatly and precisely, with minimal trace hairs.
Initially you will be frustrated with the dripping of the wax off the stick, but its all about control, dont scoop up too much wax from the container, just enough for you to apply…and most of all you will need patience. I dont do it all in one day…it usually takes me 3-4 days to wax all over.
During that time skin is rested, and if you have pulled on an area to hard, by the time you go back to it after a couple of days, it waxes wonderfully, because the tiny hairs that were trapped under skin have come out after the first pulling.
always pull the skin downwards from where you are about to pull
always observe the direction of the hair growth on your body you will need to know this to apply wax and pull, because pulling the wrong direction will be painful and you dont want to rip your skin.
GIGI wax kit comes with a booklet with a diagram showing which direction the hair grows on your body.
*underarms, knees, the very back of the bum such areas are very confusing because they have hair growing in different directions, so once you know your body better, your waxing skill will get better as well.

tweezers (a good pair) will be your best friend after waxing 
slanted tips are very precise!

PLEASE be careful when waxing your butt area! Its so so sensitive, the skin breaks very easily and is prone to infection!
Chanda is very practiced and confident, but maybe like chanda did go and watch a professional first.

I remember my first time getting a brazillian right before my wedding and the people that were doing it didn't know how to do it right and kept getting the wax stuck when pulling it!!! I cannot tell you how much it hurt - i'm all for doing things yourself but like others have said - make sure you take baby steps - don't go thinking you're some expert waxer and start sugaring away!

So I have been reading this thread and I was wondering which wax is recommeded for someone doing it the first time? Should I use the strips or the ones with cloth?
and what do you guys think about eppilators, are they a good altrnative to waxing or no? I use it for my underarms and arms.

i used to do mine every 2 weeks. then 3 weeks..and now i’m down to once a month. this stuff is so good, that when you pull it off you can actually see the ball/root of the hair! i’ve been doing this for about 2 years now and on some patches down there i dont even have any hair AT ALL. no regrowth. i’ll also add, that i wax EVERYTHING, i dont leave anything down there. and THIS is the only wax that has helped me achieve that
