Read your post and my response. Muhaajirs never conspired against anyone, they just worked hard and had somewhat better brain to be educated and were free of dark-ages cultures like killing for silly honor etc.
They (Muhaajirs) are and were the most patriotic of pakistan since they knew what it takes to build a country...unlike some who woke up and read in Newpaper that now Pakistan is their country. I ended up repeating off course in last sentence.
Without muhaajirs and few non-muhaajirs like Peer Ilaahi Bux etc., Pakistan would have divided long time ago between waderas, sardaars of Choudhries. We are seeing a glimpse of it my dear (God Forbid). If you knwow what I mean.

Sometimes I think Muhaajirs are (and were) like the jews in US coming from germany and participated to overall US development despite not being accepted for decades.

Instead of asking for the Pak govt to take care of hundreds of thousands so people in Bangladesh, ask them to start taking care of the people in Pakistan first!

I will start of with hashim raza and kazim raza by the way aalay raza famous for his nohay was also their brother .My friend bureacrats like them who have served In the ICS were required by the newly born state.Quaid e azam wanted to see educated muslims in pakistan.How many urdu speaking you see now in the establishment .Give me a list of muhajirs in the establishment now bureacrats,generals etc. Ali raza the president of NBP who served in leading financial institues of the world is the son of hashim raza.So the raza family is quiet exceptional.
Liaquat ali khan was the nawab of karnal he left everything for pakistan.no matter how much punjabis keep on abusing him and accuse him of giving lands to muhajirs he will remain one of the most honest leaders that pakistan ever had.
Can you give me a list of the fuedals who are urdu speaking in punjab.The big industrialists who are urdu speaking and living in punjab??
The fact is the rajputs of rajhasthan the qaimkhanis and khanzadas are the only non punjabi muhajirs who are involved the the agricultural sector.I know for a fact that rajputs have zamins all over sindh but majority of them are small land owners.

Muhajirs have contributed alot to the country.memons,gujratis and urdu speaking all have done alot but I dont know why you guys support mqm.MQM has given nothing to the urdu speaking community.People say that they have given urdu speaking their identity. I disagree this party always acted againt the interests of the country,province and the urdu speaking community.

I agree thats why I am against their repatriation.when the majority dont want to accept them and there is ethnic hatred and provincialism all over how will they able to survive here in the first place.

We still are (Hindus & Muslims), first Punjabis, Bengalis, Sindhis, Gujratis etc etc.

Good post. Except I maintain that 'bihaaris 'must be called Pakistanis and be brought back to their country ASAP. No (false) excuses are justified whatsoever.

The generation that saw action in 1971 is old and wants to come to Pakistan.
The generation that came after 1971 grew up in Bangladesh, lives in Bangladesh, accepted or not, is already a part of Bangladesh and its economy. They can speak Bengali.
If not all, a large percentage of them would want to stay in Bangladesh if given an option. And giving them an option is the only feasible option. it's naive to think if the GOP hires ferries to fetch them all to Karachi all of them would jump right on. Many would, many wouldnt!
And if they are given an option to avail Bangladeshi citizenship, they will have a brighter economic future in Bangladesh as well. Pakistan will not remain their only ray of light.

True! If they come here and get step-brotherly treatment, there will be another fight/movement and we are not yet an economic giant to take on that. I know it is difficult to tolerate Bengalis, but we could request Laloo Prasad(a good friend of mushi boy and Huqumat-e-Pakistan) to give a speech to his Bihari brethen just like Maulana Abdul Kalam Azaad to his Indian muslim brothers asking them to choose Pakistan vis-a-vis India.

BDesh has similar population as Pak with less half the size of Pak economy. They will appreciate any assistance in this matter.
1971 was a sad period with many unforeseen outcomes. Stranded Biharis is just one of them. Let's all work together to help alleviate their suffering.
why not give BD the ammunition directly instead of giving money to buy then do the job, its pathetic that we don't want them here anymore as we "don't need" them anymore.

BD hasn't killed them so far even after 30 odd years. Why would they do it now? Even when Pakistan gives them (as per your assertion) money to buy bullets.
