Afridi is the only one that can embarass the entire australian bowling lineup…provided he is in the mood ofcourse. Check out the BIGGEST SIX ever. The bowler didn’t even turn around and gave up sort of.

How about one of razi's {abdul razzaq} chakka against the kiwis' in new zealand. This was a ODI we just lost and razi spanked 89 of just 40 deliveries. It landed in the 3rd tier of the stadium i think.

How can he hit is so far?
Is he strong, or is it all timing, or both?
Could he hit sixes at a realy young age?
He will retire as the master blaster ahead of VIV RICHARDS at the rate he has performed this year.

i think its because he has really strong forearms which explains his rockhard handshake. His forearms help him a lot when hitting sixes plus the fact that he winds up and transfers his energy from feet to hip to forearms to hands and ultimately the bat

hitting sixes has almost nothing to do with strength. Afridi has average strength. his physique is there for all to see, and there is not much muscle. He is simply fearless, for better or worse, and attacks every ball. he has raw aggression.

What do you mean it has almost nothing to do with strenth, i disagree, yes he is fearless and sometimes he doesnt even time it well and it still goes for a six.. when you dont time balls well and they still go for a six it has to be strength and body mechanics… some people are very strong but dont have the muscle to show off, example some fo these power lifters are very strong but not very muscular.

He is Pathan and has been digging roads in his early life. Cant you see simileraity b/w “BAILCHA DIGGING THE GROUND” and “BAT HITTING A SIX” 
and now seriously, he may pass King Richard in number of sixes, fours and how hard he hit those but he can go no way near to King in Class and Brutality

The way afridi hit sixes has got almost everything to do with the strength in his arms and wrists. He can hit sixes even when the the hit is not coming from the middle of the bat.
Have you ever heard commentators saying that afridi has the strongest grip and the strongest handshake among all the cricketers?
