Biggest Six Ever!

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

nostalgic and good !

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

Healy didn’t say it was the biggest hit ever. He said it was the biggest he has every seen. I’m sure he hasn’t seen every international game in the history of cricket.

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

But im sure his opinion counts just a weeeeeee bit more then yours. :)

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

btw it wasn’t Healy, it was Bill Lawry:D

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

Uhhh…his opinion would count a bit more than mine…if he actually WOULD have said that it is the biggest six ever. Instead he carefully said “biggest hit i’ve ever seen”. You see the difference? Why the heck would someone’s opinion count on a matter that could easily be proven right or wrong through actual facts?

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

he infact said "one of the biggest six i have ever seen"...
although i think inzi, symond and razzak have hit six equal to tht mighty blaster..
especially i remember a six by inzi on murali on sharjah ground when the ball was disappeared

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

yes its not the biggest 6 ever, its the biggest he's seen at that ground

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

Better ask me.I ve lot such exp off him digging with his bAilcha:p

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

well,, I would say that though its a big six,, but not as big as the one Mark Waugh hit on perth, of the bowling of Vettori I guess.. The six landed on the roof of the pavilion, and if you know the pavillion on perth is like 6 story hi....

Saby,, you got to confirm that..

(^^ even bill lawry mentioned the same SIX in his comments at the end.)

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

Well alteast I remember 2 sixes which I have seen and were really really big. khan Sahib hitting a straight six at Edgbaston which went outside on the streets in 1987 texaco trophy. The other one was saeed anwar hitting Alderman on the leg side which also went way back at Sydney in 1990 Benson and Hedges.

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

a wicked, monster hit !..

Re: Biggest Six Ever!

I remember that one but this Afridi one almost equal IF not bigger.

But I also remember one of the sixes Wasim Akram hit to Paul strang in his epic knock of 257 in sheikhupura. He hit ball out of the ground and not just out, WAY out of the ground.
