I think she is a typical negativeminded pakistani. Why these stupidly overpatriotic pakistanis forget that they lost East Pakistan due to the stupidity of West Pakistani exploiters.:)
I think we dont have any power to change things but I agree that majority of us want to see a better pakistan,
Pakpatriot1
i think you mentioned in one of your earlier posts that your family left Pakistan at the time of zia correct me if I am wrong.so obviously you guys were anti government did that make you anti pakistan???
I think when it comes to National issues we all are united and you can see my posts and other guppies as well.It is only in provincial matters that we differ.
For example
Kalabagh Dam
Balochistan
pakhtun,mohajir(biharis) etc
Urdu language
I think people from smaller provinces have their reservations we can obviously debate on it and thats why we are here.
I dont need to get a certificate of patriotism from anyone
good thread and i also apperciate these posters who try to counter Anti-Pakistan BS.
Criticism one thing, we can all criticise government. but try to break the country, defame it no way can be called as healthy criticism.
Every ill of the society can not be blamed on this Govt. or the previous ones.
plain and simple.
Apperciate what is positive about Pakistan.
do criticise on issues but not the existance of Pakistan as a nation its here to stay you like it or not.
That's EXACTLY right, i don't think they are anti-government, they simply HATE Pakistan.
Musharraf is not my chaacha and he hasn't done ANYTHING good for me personally but i appreciate the way he has handled everything in Pakistan, some will like it and others may NOT, i have been to many different Pakistani forums (mainly about DEVELOPMENT in Pakistan) and MOST patriotic Pakistanis support Musharraf.
Nice thread tmx.
Kehkashan or whatever you are, it's not about establishment mentality, if you are REAL Pakistani, you can criticise the people all you want but there is huge difference between constructive critcism and pure hatered (which quite a few of you seem to have in your hearts). There is a poster called "Capricorn" who criticises the policies in such a way that you can feel that he really means that and he is sincere to Pakistan.
mysteryboy, the only pure hatred that I have seen in Pakistan has come from the policies of the government that have deprived the smaller provinces of rights and resources. Talk is cheap, but its actions that are currently being taken against the interest of many Pakistanis. And it is establishment mentality that tries to deny this and regards anyone who questions biased policies as being a traitor.
Get over that mentality and realize that Pakistan is an ideological state created by an elite class and many people not part of this class do not buy into Pakistani nationalism. They need something more substantive to want to stay within Pakistan’s borders.

K- They are too brain washed to realize what actually goes on in Pak.
The fact that they don't live there, or never have doesn't help.
We shouldn’t be saying that. Its okay to ask Allah for blessings for us as much as we want, but we shouldn’t be asking for bad for others. We have big mullah group doing that already i.e. death to USA (or kafirs etc.)
I love Pakistan, but I'm too sad to see it being torn apart by the selfish politicians, dictators, beauraucrats etc. I welcome all the good things anyone does even if it is Musharraf :D
