Bida'a...

Re: Bida'a...

I'm obviously speaking from the Sunni perspective.

Re: Bida'a...

the salafi-sunni perspective. other sunni views have significantly different views of Bida'aa, as this thread shows.

Re: Bida'a...

tell me ravage which "kind of sunnies" r u talking abt???....the one who belongs to fitna of sunni tahreek??.....i dont know y u want to consider those people perspective who r not present anywhere in big numbers but in pakistan....these barelvis raised many idiotic issues which had no base in islam and thts y u will find many people making fun of this sect.....u want to talk abt those "sunnies" who received millions of rupeers from america and also received hugh help from mqm and little help by agencies to spread their fitna and they suddenly became "qadiri, atari guttari".... if u live in karachi and have been observing politics very well, then u will know wht i m talking abt...

these barelvis haver their own agendas and their views r not at all valid....

and by supporting bidahs my dear ravage,u r dividing our society..... look at these hari pagris, they came hundreds of new thing and divided our soceity....

sunnies and shias conflicts have always been there but raised of barelvi fitna is the sad part of our society....so plz dont talk abt "tht category of sunnies perspective"...

Re: Bida'a...

Guy1 I dont wish to get into the barelvi/deobandi business, because thats like an american trying to address issues between bangladesh and nepal.

i did not mean barelvis by this, neither are the sunnies posting here hari pagri walay to my knowledge and im sure none recieved money from MQM. way back in this thread i referenced a salafi website which i now believe is fairly reputable (since many of the fatawa Sadiyah references are from there) saying that those who practiced 3 divorces at once were "rebels against Allah", a polite way of saying Kafir. This is practiced and legislated across much of the Sunni Muslim world, not just Pakistan. In opposition to that I also referenced a website based in South Africa, which I believe belonged to the Tablighi Jamaat, which again is much more widespread than corners of Karachi.

I am not sure who you wish to single out as a Barelvi in this thread, since most of it hasnt been about mazaars waghaira, its been about a number of other issues about which opinion in the sunni world is divided (not along Barelvi-Deobandi lines)

Re: Bida'a...

ravage, for the sake of clarification, I'm not a Salafi, and nor is www.islamqa.com.

Yes, sometimes I post material from efatwa.com because I find it quite credible; however, I myself am not a Salafi.

Re: Bida'a...

sorry about that. could you tell me what brand of sunnism IslamOnline.net is ?

Re: Bida'a...

^ From what I've noticed they have a huge database of scholars whom they refer to. Therefore, I've seen different views and not just one.

Some views and opinions are commendable, while other aren't as much.
