Whilst the EX CJ (to his credit) did not want any sanctions that could harm Pakistan, BB wants USA to withdraw aid to her beloved Pakistan?
Pakistan opposition leader Benazir Bhutto says the US should consider withdrawing aid and military support to the country to force a move towards democracy.
She has skipped writing letters to American's this time to urge puntive action against a Pakistani govt, and said it publicly.
This is the woman who also said she would allow international access to AQ Khan, and even give permission for the US to bomb Pakistan! No wonder she is hated in most of Pakistan, especially Punjab where she has got such pathetic receptions.
What else can be expected from her. Back in November 1988, when she came to power, I was very happy and optmistic about Pakistan's progressive and democratic future! Alas my elusive dream!

I don't see anything wrong with that. In fact, I have written to senators and congressmen asking them to cut off military aid, and provide more economic support to the country.
On the one hand people castigate any leader seen close to the United States, yet on the other hand they themselves ask for American intervention i.e. by lobbying them to cut aid to Pakistan. Hypocrisy.
whatever, if it harms Pakistan and pakistani is asking for it, that person should fall under treason and should be punished. she is just a shame for our nation!

As a Pakistani American I do not want my tx dollars paying for oppression of people of Pakistan, or prolonging a dictatorship. And, I have every right to ask my elected representatives to make sure that it doesn't happen.

All Pakistanis in Pakistan should immediately stop paying taxes. Don't they realise they are indirectly helping the oppression.

she is not justtalking military aid.
*Ms Bhutto told Sky News: "The important thing is that Mr Negroponte should push upon him a scenario where Pakistan can be restored to peace and stability.
"I would like to see aid used as a leverage. At the moment the signal that should be given is that the aid could stop.
"Pakistan needs the aid but it's not coming to the people and it hasn't come to the people in the past."*
she wants military aid to come directly to the people? so they can fight their own army and over throw them? is this what she is saying?
no sheis saying that in past military aid to pakistan stopped at military(and the pockets of generals) and that people (i.e. she) did not get much of it.
or maybe she wants UET class of 2010 to have their own tank and helicopter, who knows.
i want to know what type of bhang she is using and whereI can get myhands on it

That's not a too clever play of words and titles, but it's still quite hypocritical. You can't just be American or Pakistani when it suits your political biases. :)
