Hi Mr. Xtreme, I would call myself a Christian. I know that there have been followers of the Christian faith that have done the equivalant of Jihad(IE. Holy Crusades), but this is not what Jesus teaches his followers to do. As a matter of fact he makes it clear that the definition of love is not being kind to your friends but to love your enemy. Matthew 5:44-48

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

I try to live my life as such given by the example of my Lord. Therefore if you question my Lord and call him false. Which by the nature of being a Muslim you have, I am admonished to love you, not kill you.

Peace and blessings

Care to explain what sort of peace Jesus (Peace be upon him) had in mind when he uttered the following:

Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn "a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law--a man's enemies will be the members of his own household." (Matthew 10:34-36)

Do you think that I have come to bring peace to the earth? No, I tell you, but rather division! From now on five in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three; they will be divided: father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." Luke 12:51-53

Jesus said, "Perhaps people think that I have come to cast peace upon the world. They do not know that I have come to cast conflicts upon the earth: fire, sword, war. For there will be five in a house: there'll be three against two and two against three, father against son and son against father, and they will stand alone." Thomas 16

your sense of humor is very very stale.

As far as I can see, people start arguing among themselves, and insult each other- rather than expressing any views on what the topic is all about.Its very annoying when almost all the threads in religion forums turn into personal insults to each other.You'd think people would act a bit mature for a change.

Anyway back to the topic.I don't really understand what is being said here exactly.I mean yes it would make a Muslim angry if anybody disrespected the Prophet (SAW) in any way.The thing is however, some people don't know they are doing it- while others do - and there are all the confused lot in the middle.

Anyhow I suppose it's easier to get angry at something and defend it if its close to you- such as family.Brothers,sisters and parents etc.I would never let anybody talk against those I love, and if they did I would give them a piece of my mind.And when it comes to the Prophet (SAW), I would never let them disrespect him.Ofcourse not.However I would try my best to help them understand- because remarks such as that are usually based on ignorance.And if they are too thick headed to listen I just say to myself they'll know the truth some day.
