TLK bro I know what you mean… I remember I was 9 or 10 when My mom used to watch star plus n zee drama’s and dad said to me and my sister dont watch them, as my father dont want us to learn like " kisi ko neecha kese dikhate hain " " khud ko bachane ke liye jhoot kese bolte hain "
and all those chalakiya in indian dramas

I have said something like that to my mom too ! my mom watches every saas bahu and mazloom larki ka drama on star , sony etc etc (I dont even know the name of those channels) . I have told her that I don’t want my daughter to see those dramas and have requested her to see Paki dramas only. May be I am too narrow minded but I can’t imagine my daughter picking up words like namastey , bhagwan etc etc and all those home politics they show on these channels.

On the other hand I still read Betty and Veronica comics and I have no clue when I will allow her to read them !

But yes this home politics thingy is way too much… I have a cousin her mom is nice but she is way too rude.. when i was 13 or 14 on one wedding she came diractly to me and said aren’t you wearing same dress you wore someone else mehandi i said yes so what? she said nothing just i was asking..

aur ab jab wo mai yad karti hoo to muje lagta hai wo mujpe Tanz karti thee… she used to do this with many others cousin and she was fond of indian drama and im sure she learn all this neecha dikhana Tanz karna from indian drama..

Noor is into comics for some reason.....she got one from my niece on her birthday....I'll check what it is but from afar it looked like some story about a girl and her dog....

I was never into comics.....couldn't understand the need for all the pictures.....
