our parents ,but there are somethings I am doing diiferently because of what I had experianced as a child.

could not say...
but can say that our generation is a lot more tougher on their kids in away than our parents were on us.
In terms of manners, behaviour, safety and health.
In a way its good... in another way, I think... are we taking away childhood from our children. Are we wanting them to be proper little adults from the word go... i dunno.

We can never beat our parents in raising us and same as our next generation insha'allah hopefully will be able to beat us in parenting. What i am saying is, since i am very athletic and love adventure trips... i will be taking our kids to adventure trips and vacation very often. That was something i always wanted to do when i was a kid so neva want them to say they haven't had fun with their dad..aka moi!

Hard question…but I think our parents did an awesome job raising us…look how we turned out 
. I guess the results of our parenting shall be seen a few years from now.
But seriously, I think the goal of every parent is pretty much the same, styles are different.
