I would not allow it either. I agree with what Temp5t said. The entertainment industry is not conducive to practicing Islam. Furthermore, singing would not be allowed islamically anyway. I want my daughter to be pious and humble (inshAllah) - not attract attention to herself in a haram way.

My point is not everyone has to be provocative, but yes sex sells, it’s been proven ages ago with marketing.

But always equating singing with being provocative etc is wrong. That’s my point.
