i’m not going to argue with you regarding why there is nothing wrong with letting your child(boy or girl) become a singer or even a lingerie model. lingerie models have parents too, who are proud of their children. but i guess you do not consider them sane people.

Keep you assumptions to yourself. That’s exactly the kind of bigotry and extremism I was talking about. Just because someone doesn’t say yes to your yes, you start your desperate assumptions and accusation. What other parents to do for their children is none of my concern, what I as a parent do for my child should be no one’s concern either.

FYI, I have some extremely close successful friends in Pakistan Fashion industry. I’m personally a stakeholder in that field. But do I want my children to step into the field or do my friends want their children to step into that world is a totally different matter. Its a very private matter and it’s matter that’s essentially no one’s business.

because these parental choices and the reasons behind these choices are going to shape the future of your children(and their thought process) and hence the future of the society about which OP is so worried and cares enough to ask questions which let us all think about the prevailing situation and realize what is going on.

It’s all subjective! And sorry, whatever you’ve written here is not part of “most world’s constitutions”. If the OP or anyone for that matter wants to pain a better society, they should stat off by respecting other’s opinions and personal choices. We are free people, we live in free countries no one has to explain and justfy and inform about our private decisions anyone. Children too can make their own decisions when they reach a certain age. So far most posters have expressed their opinions why they wouldn’t *encourage **their ****children ***towards a particular thing, so respect their opinions and move on.
