You seem as confused as the OP. She is not talking about “right of a woman”, she is talking about *parental choices, encouragement, decision and opinion for their children *presumably of an age where they are still under the parental guardianship. Perhaps OP should take a lead out of “most constitutions of the world” and live and let live and respect personal opinions, life choices of others.

i’m not going to argue with you regarding why there is nothing wrong with letting your child(boy or girl) become a singer or even a lingerie model. lingerie models have parents too, who are proud of their children. but i guess you do not consider them sane people.

Why should parents bother explaining and justifying their parental choices methods to her?

because these parental choices and the reasons behind these choices are going to shape the future of your children(and their thought process) and hence the future of the society about which OP is so worried and cares enough to ask questions which let us all think about the prevailing situation and realize what is going on.
