Has anyone ever worked with AliphaurMeem? They are photographers based in Ottawa/Toronto. What was your experience with them, if you have worked with them?

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

ABCi are pretty good. But they charge a lot (about $6000-$7000 - for 3 days). If you have the money to spend, why not? But the thing I dont like about them, is that every video they make, looks the same, and they use the same songs for every video as well.

I am going with Escape Studios. Jay is really nice, and very easy to work with, and he is very reasonably priced as well. And all his videos are different from the other videos.

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

yah ABCI is good no doubt, but really expensive... and you're rite, there videos are starting to look similar and similar for every wedding..:s.. I'm glad I picked Escape too to cover my wedding..:D

i’ve seen their stuff and seen them work a wedding too and they’re still a bit on the amateur side. their work lacks a certain polish that more experienced photographers have.
check out Projected Life- they’re quite good. http://www.projectedlife.com/

Fazo1, has your wedding passed already? How happy were you with your wedding video? Im getting married in March, so Im just starting to book vendors, but my fiance and I have chosen to go with Escape. I just want to know how satisfied you were with the video, and was Jay easy to work with?

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

no saima my wedding isn't till this september..:) I'll let you know how it was after...They seem really good and are reasonably priced.

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

^ make sure he doesn't drop off stacks of his business postcards all over your guest tables, like he did at a recent wedding. i'd personally find that hugely annoying! its a wedding/private event, not a conference, for crying out loud. imagine if all your vendors decided to solicit your guests at your wedding.

congrats Fazo1....good luck with all your planning!

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

thanks saima..:) wish you luck and all the best.

SGC...do you mean escape studios? I really wouldn't want that at my wedding....it's an intimate and private event, not business!!

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

^ yeah, i mean escape.

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

this is SUCH a good video! FSW are fantastic and if the rukhsati scenes at the end don’t make you bawl, you have no heart :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

man these guys are all expensive :(

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

ansoon...for something more affordable, try Nice Photography...i think the guy is Ali - we had used him 6 years ago for my Brother's wedding.

I think you should invest more in photography than videography, since that it is seen more often.

One of my cousins hired an average photographer to take their wedding pics and it was saved on a dvd. then she went to pakistan, found a photographer there that converted her wedding photos into an amazing photo album! it's really nice!

Re: Best Wedding Photographer/Videography in Toronto, Markham, MIssiauga, Brampton, e

ok, Im trying to start a new topic, but for some reason its not working. So I thought this was the best place to ask this question.

Im getting married in March 2011. I want to do my photo session outdoors. But I want to know, what do people think is the best place to do an outdoor photo session? I dont like parks too much, so someplace like the Distillery District (this is my first option), but I want other options as well.

Thanks!

Best photographer / videographer in GTA (Toronto / Mississauga / Oakville area)

Hi ladies,

I’m getting married in June 2011 inshallah and am looking for a photographer. I’d like a really great photographer - I will just need for day of the wedding reception prob for 8 hrs or so. And might want to hire him / her for 2 or 3 hrs for the mehndi / nikkah. I’m looking to pay in the $ 2,500 to $ 3,000 range or so.

Also, not sure if we’ll even get a videographer but if we do then want to go really cheap for that as we don’t care too much about the wedding video. Any suggestions for this?!

I really like the following three photographers so far. Does anyone have any experience with these photographers? Or know anyone who hired them? Would appreciate any feedback!

http://www.photostudia.com/ (I loved their pics. But I read a very bad review of Studio 2000 online)

http://www.livepixelsphotography.com/ (Only got in touch through email so far and seems good so far)

http://www.yellowbarn.ca/blog/ (She’s very reasonably priced and I like her work but she doesn’t have our date. Might get her for mehndi / nikkah though)

The ones above are my first picks and the ones below are secondary choices. If anyone has any experience in terms of cost, reviews etc. I would really appreciate!!! Thanks!!!
