SGC - Do you know of anyone who’s hired Stephen Sager and / or have you seen his work yourself? We did like his albums and his pics. But we don’t know of anyone who’s worked with him and wanted to check what he’s like to work with on the wedding etc. So I would appreciate any info. You’re right about no second shooter but as our wedding is small that works for us.

Yup, he shot my brother’s wedding this summer. The pictures are very nice quality-wise and he has a good eye- But if you’re looking for documentary style pictures or something more in the style of Mimmo + Naz or Christian Oth style, then you’d have to look elsewhere. He’s a nice guy and easy to work with. He himself is a second shooter at times for the more documentary style photographers in the industry which is commendable. My bro and SIL are very happy with the results.

Edited: Just saw the mehendi pictures and he did an excellent job with them, esp the candids!!

Oh and yes, you can absolutely negotiate with ANY vendor. They might not bring down the price but they may throw in an engagement shoot, an album or something equal to that. Definitely speak to them about the price and see what they can offer you.
