I don’t know what is the name of above bowler but this is best swing ever I seen. Similiar to this Wasim Akram did but couldn’t find that video. That was from in swing from off.

Re: Best Spin Ever Seen
when did you start following cricket?
Re: Best Spin Ever Seen
I started playing cricket when I first time visited Pakistan. First with tape-tennis ball, then with hard ball. I never liked to do bating but i loved to do bowling. I liked bawling style of 'Waqar Younis' especially his toe breaker swing. B'coz of my in and off swing bowling, I was taken in a team not in Pakistan but when I came back here.

Re: Best Spin Ever Seen

Re: Best Spin Ever Seen
R u kidding with me
or u really mein don 't know ![]()
Re: Best Spin Ever Seen
I really don’t know Moeen Ali… I know Moin Khan (wicket keeper/bastman).
Re: Best Spin Ever Seen
Oops my bad. Yes i was also referring to Moeen Khan the wicket keeper/bastman. Mostly labeled as all rounder.
Re: Best Spin Ever Seen
Few corrections: Wasim Akram was a fast bowler, so his “swing” bowling can not be compared with spin from a spinner. The spinner in your video is Shane Warne, he hit rough patch of the pitch to gain maximum traction off ground.
Moin Khan was not an “opener”, he was a middle/lower order batsman mostly.
See corrections above.

Wasim’s swing bowling:
Re: Best Spin Ever Seen
What is ‘swing’ in ur views? In air or after hitting the pitch?
In my view the ball which actually ‘swings’ in air before hitting the pitch.

You are comparing spin with a fast bowler's swing. don't know that the spinner you are posting is one of the best ever! Clearly you need to learn a few things about cricket before posting? I admire your gumption though and the ability to come up with conspiracy theories.
Re: Best Spin Ever Seen
Swing happens when the ball moves through the air. It is influenced by arm action, speed, climate (humidity, moisture, temperature of air) and shape/features of ball.
Seaming happens after the ball hits the pitch surface on its seam and bounces away or into the batsman. It is influenced by condition of ball (rough side vs. shiny side), delivery wrist position of bowler, grip of bowler on the ball before delivery, speed of delivery.
Adding: Forgot to mention that the pitch condition dry vs. grassy or wet will be very very important as well.
If pitch is dry light seam movement will occur however will vanish in very few overs and then later on contribute to swing due to making the ball age faster, read that as roughing up the ball faster. On a grassy wicket the seam will cause the ball to skid away the slightest bit exaggerating the seam affect. I hope I have confused you with all this information.

wow, are you serious? It seems like he just started following cricket, why don't you teach him something instead of making remarks about his knowledge.
