This is the best site I’ve come across to date for WC info. Surprisingly, both Cricinfo and the official site are low on info.

Wikipedia is a member-editable encyclopedia.. so ppl can contribute a lots of information from anywhere around.. although the info is monitored by administrators who make sure that it is appropriate, encyclopedic, and authentic. Good site (I also have an account on it)

I must say Pakistan is in the easiest group. Just beat WI and goto super 8. It will matter the most in Semi-finals, if we have good RR carry forwarded from group stages and maintained at super 8.

Beat West Indies? West Indies is not the easiest team. Especially in their home. West Indies has played incredibly well over the last two ICC cups.
Last world cup 2003, West Indies defeated SA in first match.

numu, other two teams are very easy. So Pak only needs to beat WI to goto the second round. No?

Even if Pakistan lose their match against Windies still they will be able to qualify for Super 8 by beating the other 2 teams which I guess are Zimbabwe and Ireland. Obviously beating Windies will help Pakistan to qualify for semi finals, since they will carry those points in the Super 8 round. If you guys remember, Pakistan lose their matches against India and BD in super 6 round of '99 WC but still were able to qualify for semi finals because of their awesome performance during the first round.

New Zealand is in the easiest group. They only have to beat Kenya and off course they will beast England and Canada easily.
