I live in pakistan and I have seen the growing trend in universities etc that if a guy approaches a girl and say that I am contemplating marriage, she will either freak out and give him a cold shoulder or laugh at him saying ‘how soon’. Now whats up with that?

When ever people ask me where I am from (and that happens quite often) I ask them in return to take a wild guess. Here’s what I have heard from them so far: Cuban, Algerian, Italian, Jew ( I know, thats lame), Egyptian, Moroccan. I always tell them that I am a Pakistani (although i was born and grew up in middle east). Thats who I am.

Talking about Jamaat Khanas, yeah quite a few Ismaelis have told me that they go there to “socialize” and meet with potential partners. Sad thing is they wont let non-ismaelis in.

I don’t think Muslims want them in our Mosques haha!..I remember in high school we had the ISA or something and i went in there once and there was this ismaeli girl praying alone in the middle of the room, with a short skirt on and a scarf that was barely on too…and guys were just standing around …I don’t understand them at all, they don’t even read namaz like we do and i don’t think they even believe in the same things as we do, like the 5 pillars! And they call themselves Muslims, which makes us look bad…

other then that in our mesjid they have YOUTH CLASSES IN SETION, where so far quite a few couples met for the first time. And in mesjid some smart arse lady came up with the idea SINCE OUR CHILDREN CANT HAVE FREEDOM LIKE GORAZ THEY UNDER GO EMOTIONALY STREE SO I THINK WE SHOULD LET YOUNG MUSLIM GUYS AND GULS PARTY AROUND ONCE IN A WHILE lol .. i m freakin serious !

p/s: hey hey hey ! dont even start on ismailiz aight .. i got a really fast friend who is ismaili and i tell you she is waaaaaaaaaaay better then any of our MUSLIM brothers and sisters. i dont agree to her believes but she still is my bestest friend
