which is actually very true.. all girls regardless of what they have to offer themself are always aiming way way too high and then turn around complaining they can't find 'normal' guys.. well .. they're right there except they won't measure up to your standards..

not true PA. The easiest way to push desi guys away is to approach them I think. What I really believe is that there r way too many confusions and wrong notions about the other gender and ppl keep holding back due to them. Basically cos desi's dont open up to eachother honestly.

i agree...uni/college best place to meet ur future whatever...all the young pple (teens) usually meet at melas or at canada's wonderland...its pretty pathetic wathcing it all..which is why i hate going to melas....

This question was brought up in another thread and I think it deserves a thread of it’s own.

So, what are some of the places for single desis (girls and boys) to meet up other desis. Americans usually meet them in churches, social parties, work, etc. Where do we meet desis? There is virtually zilch mingling in masaajid and most parties are segregated.

So, what are some realistic options to meet new desis on a regular interval while keeping the ‘shareef tag’ intact.
