Om Shanti Om is not a trash of 2007.. I agree the story is not realistic but the acting is great and is a good time pass!! The songs r goood 2 like Deewangi and Ajab Si!!

Some1, I am begging you, please watch this movie. F** the Indian critics on this one; half of them don’t know what they talk about. Do you expect Taran Adarsh (the idiot who orgasms everytime a SRK movie comes out) to review any movie fairly? Even Rediff got it wrong this time (and yes, I realize they are usually very reliable, and that’s why I was surprised too). These are the guys who call Sanjay Gupta the Tarantino of Bollywood; what can you expect from them!
No Smoking is a masterpiece; reviewers have called it self-indulgent and pseudo-intellectual, but it’s not my freakin’ fault if they are too stupid to challenge themselves over a movie and want everything fed to them on a silver platter. The movie will boggle your mind, yes, but I guarantee that you would love it (knowing your views in general from the cricket forum). *

I will take your word for it and will try and get hold of the DVD soon.
And yes, very often - I like a movie that most people have dissed and vice-versa. I am generally attracted to offbeat movies and hate the "yash-chopra-kind-dancing-around-the-trees" stuff immensely no matter how well made.

dont trust rediff reviews. They are the worst. For example they gave that trash OSO 4 stars and taare zameen par 3 stars.
