Sometimes some people dont differentiate between zabihah halal and halal…for some hala is just something permissible in Islam nad it doesnot necessarily have to be zabihah halal…
My sister who lives in NY told me sth like this…she went to a street cart which sold this halal chicken and beef and turkey sandwiches and shwaramas and stuff.He told her that chicken is zabihah halal and beef is halal…you get the point…??
So you might wanna inquire if they are zabiha halal or not…that is the one slaughtered acc to the Islamic ways.

YEA I DONT get that at all..people have just come up with that to make themselves feel better..zabihah is a newly contructed word, but since beginning of time, we have been hearing of halal and halal only , and now people come up with saying oh there is a difference btw halal and zabihah halal..what in Gods name is different.
it says numerous times in quran that, with out the taqbir and correct way of slaughtering the meat isnt HALAL on you, never said it isnt zabihah halal on you.
i have no idea why people make this complications
just so when they eat non halal, they dont feel bad…
