can anybody tell what Roag and maaye Ni is about? also does anybody know what the drama Naadaamat is about? It will start next monday on Hum T. The Promos look confusing but then again the promos for Humsafar were weird too. Also is the song of Nadaamat sung by the same person as MZZB it seems very similiar.

Some of the plays on Hum are aweful like Mujhay Rutney nai deyna, mohollay ki laryian....only the plays on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday seem to be of some value.

Oh Btw the drama Parsa was fairly good......very acting by Aisha Khan.

^ Roag very broadly speaking is about a girl who was raped as a child and grows up with major issues due to that. It has tons and tons of melodrama but overall the story was really good and the acting by majority of the cast was good.

I was thinking the same thing....I love her innocence and acting in Saiqa. I think she could have done justice to the role. Although have no complaints against Mahira. As far as Asher's role I think they hit it on the nail with fawad khan.

Yes, even Mahira Khan admitted that her acting was bakwas on Jago Jago Pakistan yesterday. I suppose Mehreen Jabbar couldn't properly direct her.........lol!

How good is Dastaan? Planning to watch it when I have nothing better to do? Also planning to watch Roag how many episodes is it?

Pani Jaisa Pyar was just ok. some good acting especially by Juggan Kazim but it is not one of favorite plays. Also Sawlee with Naheed Shabbir was okay…not great…Sara Khan and Naheed Shabbir seem to have disppeared from the acting scene these days.

I WOULD say Road and Hamsafar But Hamsafar is no.1,Roag no 2 just because of the ending it was v good througout but the ending was extremely poor and didn't make any sense.

So much of quiade tanhai was realistic........and the ending was good too. For many of the men who went abroad this story was realistic and they wound up marrying woman there and had wives back home. It also showed the impact on both set of women and the kids involved. Of course the cast wasn't as star studded as Humsafar and the clothes weren't as appealing but quiade tanhai is a realistic story. It has a happy ending and they are able to save their family.

Top Dramas of 2011

Now that 2011 is over, I'd like to catch up on dramas. You kids know me. What would I enjoy seeing?

You can post promo videos to make the thread more colorful. Include dramas that have fresh storylines, are not overly made-up, no over the top make-up and fake acting, good acting, genuine storylines, etc.

Especially stuff that would make me relate to it. i.e. single girl, working, etc.
