Wondering if any other actress could play role of Khirad? Of course Mahira Khan has done justice to the role. I thinks thinking maybe Sumbul Iqbal or that new girl who is shagufta aijazs daughter on mere dil mere qatil.... She is doing a pretty good job. Of course Fawad Khan is best suited for the role of Asher. Glad they didn't cast Faisal Qureshi.
ummmm i hate sumbul iqbal....shes a terrible actress and that new girl is also kinda irritating.
i cannot think of another acress who could have played the role lol
Meray khawab rezay rezay was pretty good too. I really liked quaid e tanga i. There was some story and message. Maat is good so far but I think the story is stupid and no really reflective of Pakistani culture or should not be reflective.
Samdan was ok. Also yeh kaisa junoon was okay also. Daam was an excellent drama. I think dorahaa and daam are great plays. Qaida tanhai was really good too
I can't really put the below in order because I like them overall but all of them have or had potential room for improvement
Roag - awesome acting by Faisal Qureshi. Asif Raza Mir and Shagufta made a very real to life couple. Could have cut down on the typical BJ melodrama galore.
Qaid-e-Tanhai - introduced me to Neelum Munir which I am thankful to BJ for (can't believe I'm saying this ah) ; Faisal and Savera were great together. Here is a perfect example of a good story being not properly directed by BJ and could have been much better if maybe a Mehreen directed it.
Mera Naseeb - it was like a breath of fresh air from a directorial POV. I loved the beautiful flowy sets :) Enjoyed Imran Abbas actually playing a character and not some mushy romantic hero. Best of all, loved seeing the 3 veteran ladies in one shot.
Humsafar - won't be able to fully comment until it ends but so far, Sarmad's very simple direction of a very 'casual' story is the strongest point besides the new pairings of the three main leads. I would put this in the same category as Doraha where something just 'clicked' with the viewers.
Definitely I would say that the cast is the strong point of Humsafar. We haven't really seen an overexposure of the 3 main leads. So glad they didn't choose Faisal qureshi for this role. Direction is pretty good ....I am hoping that Sarmad does not mess the ending like BJ in Mzzb. It was a very lame ending to a very powerful drama.
