could anyone please share your restaurant experiences in this area…edison, iselin, nj? we have to take a few friends out to dinner over the weekend, it has to be halal, a presentable clean place and ofcourse good old Pakistani food, not the generic indian variety. thanks !!

u can try shalimar it has one of the best food, the place is ok but very crowded on weekend and it closes at 10 on weekend ,

Yeah Shalimar is on Oak Tree Road in Iselin. You can also go to Shezan on Oak Tree Road as well. But I also like Shalimar food better, although a bit crowded.

Well not sure they make reservations, but definitely call n find out. Now if you want a nice sit down place, check out Moghul on Oaktre.....not express but sit down fancy moghul...
its a bit pricey but very nice, ambience...seating etc...

oh so shalimar is not a sit down place? is it only buffet? i'll check moghul online...thnks again
