Best deal you scored this shopping season.

Re: Best deal you scored this shopping season.

^ not surprising.. i think that shop does 75% of their business in these two weeks…rest of the year they are just sitting around and smelling good

Re: Best deal you scored this shopping season.

High volatility indicative of buy. Complacency kills

Re: Best deal you scored this shopping season.

I saved a lot … I stayed at home … haven’t gone shopping … so haven’t bought all the use-less stuff at SALES that I would’ve bought JUST because it was on a sale regardless of the fact that I’m not going to use it EVER in my life …

I mean seriously … with the SALE SALE SALE banners everywhere, all my concentration goes to what was the original price and how reduced it is now … and not really pay much attention to if I REALLY like it or if I would’ve bought this thing if it was ORIGINALLY at this low price … most probably not … and later when I have to store it in my cupboard and when-ever I do spring cleaning I come across these clothing items that I’ve never worn and am never going to wear but can’t throw out because I’ve spent my hard earned money on it … and then one day I’ll get the charity bag in mail and fill it up with all those use-less items for someone else like ME to be deceived … SIGHHHHHHH …

Re: Best deal you scored this shopping season.

Nice call.

PS WTF oil at 49. The drop I was hoping for. Post Christmas sale in big oil may be here. May redid toes little at a time. Your energy etf not a bad idea. Though not for me.

Re: Best deal you scored this shopping season.

Almost sounds like you are regretting the decision..

Re: Best deal you scored this shopping season.

Crude could start to go up soon. A $10 increase will be a huge vote of confidence in the world economies. Do you have the numbers for US oil imports? That will be key for Saudis to pause the pumping.

Re: Best deal you scored this shopping season.

Not of the top or bottom of my head.

At some point oil will go up. Shale oil producers will have to close shop at these prices. That will out a crimp on supply. Canadian oil sands I hear also cannot be sustained at these prices.

Inflation adjusted 48 dollars is probably close to the 32 dollar low circa 2003.

Re: Best deal you scored this shopping season.

Nothing. These kind of sales are madness…I’m not the pushy grabby type plus I hardly get my size in sales :frowning:

Some time back my friend told me about Estee Lauder outlet kinda sale, she even had the tickets for it…but I’m not too much into makeup

Re: Best deal you scored this shopping season.

US crude benchmark back down to 48. Both total and royal dutch under water. May be time to buy some more.

Re: Best deal you scored this shopping season.

I was looking for LG Wireless Bluetooth neckband style headset over the internet and found Buy 1 Get 1 is offering buy one get one free deal. And the blessed moment was when I saw this headset is also in that deal so I ordered and yes, I got two in the price of one. My lil bro is quite happy with his new neckband style headset
