Roman Abramovich one of the richest men in the World has just divorced his wife…because they got married in Russia she is entitled to a measly 1.1billion which is 10% of his wealth…
If this was a marriage in the UK she would have been entitled to atleast half his wealth 5.5billion…lucky he was in Russia then…
Britain is a terrible place to be divorced if you are wealthy…the woman gets the house, kids and most of your wealth aswell as future money you may earn…
Just curious where are the best places to get married if you are a man as in pay the least % and are there actually any places worse than the UK in terms of divorce settlements?..
Also a religious question…in Islam if you have a talaq what is the woman entitled to?..

nothing, so a woman who supported a husband for 20-30 years, helped him become what he is today (and you are completely ignorant if you think that a successful man was able to do so without his wife's help) ...gave him children...gets nothing when he decided to up and leave her for the 20 something secretary.
i think that's why multiple wives does have it's importance..in this case she'd still be married just have a jr. wife.

I think it should be based upon individual circumstances. A woman who invests 10-20 years in a marriage and is then shown the door, deserves a big share, on the other hand a biatch who marries fr money, then sleeps around and gets divorced in a year or two, does not deserve anything.
