since i`ve been following these threads for quite a while now and i know a lot of our GS ladies have taken the opportunity to order from a lot of home based designers out there and as we all know how many are out there at facebook, it gets so confusing when it comes to trusting those facebook “designers” who made what and who is just takin other peoples pictures and posting them in their own albums …
For example there was this one suit, i really liked, i messaged that person to give me a price for it ( thinking that she made it, and it will obviously look the same ) ..
the other day i am seeing that picture in other facebook “designers” albums, claiming it be to be their own design or copy …
I cant tell you, how mad this can make you, especially when u really looking for somebody who can provide great suites at reasonable prices and cares abt quality and their customers as well, but at facebook its just one big mess ..

So i was wondering, asking all the ladies who already have ordered who they think is the best homebase designer to order from, also when it comes to makin really good copies of suites and is reasonable with prices well ..
SairaJi is great although i didnt order a copy but the quality of my suit was very good
Cyma is probably the best in my personal experience for copies the suit i ordered form her came out very well and am in the process of ordering more from her. She is also stressfree to order from.
there is also a group called nadyas Visage - i havent ordered anything from her but her copies are very good and they seem to all be her own pics.
if you look through 'bazaar talk' there are numerous reviews and threads on the topic.

I am getting more and more annoyed about designers posting on GS as well as facebook who just upload loads and loads of photos that they've got out of magazines, catwalk shows and other places.
I dont want to see picture after picture from a magazines, if i want to do that i'll go and buy it myself. I want to see the quality of the work they are producing. It just makes me very very suspicious ie. do u not have faith in your work to actually upload the real deal,.
But then again i so agree with what you are saying, there have been examples of people uploading other peoples genuine pictures and passing them off as there own. In fact on one group a woman was claiming that a suit Proto had produced for me was her own kaam and when i questioned her about it, she threw me off her site. I have also seen sites where the copies have been awful!
My bit of advice would be, read the reviews on here, message people who have ordered from the designers and if a price seems to good to be true, dont take the risk.
I have personally ordered from Cyma who was excellent, the quality of her kaam was outstanding. I have ordered one semi formal outfit from sairaji when she first started and that again was a beautiful outfit but i think she is only doing wedding stuff now, I have also placed an order with crystal bracelets for casual kapray ie tops to wear with jeans and shalwaar kamiz and i'm just waiting for my kapray but she has been brilliant to deal with, really very professional and very accomodating. And last but by no means last is our Prototype. She is fabulous, she works extremely hard ,works within your price point, uses very good material and her stiching is awesome.
On facebook i have ordered from, Madihas atelier. She was a little more pricey but again my suit was beautiful. she produced an outfit within 3 weeks and it was very pretty. I have also ordered from Farhat Anwar and again she was very professional and my outfits were lovely.

What are Cyma`s contact details ? And do u mind posting a picture of that suit u got copied and that suit which is the copy ?? would love to see it ..

I have actually contacted proto a couple of days back, she was very quick to reply but i still need to send her the pictures of the outfits and see how her prices are ...

Even my Khala's who live in Pakistan were asking me for her contact info because they loved the material and work on the clothes - so deff recommend her. I ordered one suit from SHK_14 but she isnt working anymore as she has moved away - but she was awesome to deal with aswell..

It may be in your best interest not to bash Proto as just a home based designer because she is a favorite here and she does fabulous work.
Kingme123, it would be of more use for you and others if you start your own thread and put up pics of your 'outstanding' work rather than poking your useless comments and offering your cheaper services in other's threads and work. You are a shopkeeper/dukaandaar yourself and I believe you'd have more&better business ethics and dealing strategies than any homebased designers out here ;) thanks.

Hmmm well I can tell you which kind of designers tend to not go too far on Gupshup --those who feel the need to put other designers down in order to try to make themselves look better!! We dont need you to tell us that Proto is a homebased designer, as she never claimed to be otherwise, nor do you need to insinuate that she isnt capable of offering professional services!! Enough of us have ordered from her and had EXCELLENT experiences for us to trust her and recommend her 100%. So why not let your work speak for itself, if it is good as you claim it is, your business will do well and your customers will stand by you and then it will be your satisfied customers who are giving you good reviews and praising your work and you wont have to do that yourself!!!!!!!!
i would definitely reccomend cyma....just got two suits from her she is really lovely to work with and has excellent customer service and ofcourse the suits were lovely....check her thread out :)
hey farhat i’ve had quite a few outfits from you including SS unstiched (last year), threads and motifs wala outfit and recently i ordered a gorgeous red chiffon dress outfit as an emergency outfit.
